Should I go?

"Wait, I'm coming with you." I said to Four before he even left the building. It was very early in the morning, but I was awake. "Ella, if they find you, they'll take you back to Jeanine." Four pointed out as he walked towards me. "That's why your hair is orange?" He asked grabbing a hair strand of mine and I gave him a small smile.

"It was time for a change." I answered and Tris walked towards us.

"Love your hair." She compliments. "Thank you." I said and looked back at Four who let go of my hair. "I can protect myself." I added then showed them my hand which had red spectrums surrounding it. "All right." He said with a small smirk.

The four of us start heading out when I hear Steve call my name. We all turned to look and see him running towards us, I let out a sigh and he looked at my hair confused. "Orange?" He asked playfully and stood in front of me. "I thought I told you to stay put." He said and I crossed my arms.

"If I could see the people from Dauntless, maybe I could remember my past." I explained. He scratched the back of his neck and bit his lower lip, looking very hesitant. "Then I'm coming with you." He said and I shook my head, then stopped him from walking by placing my hand on his chest. "Steve, this could be dangerous. You could get hurt." I point out and he placed his hand on my cheek.

"Just promise me you won't get killed." I whispered to him, he smiled and nodded.

"I promise."

I smiled back at him and we start heading out, Steve stayed right by my side along with Four on my other side. I couldn't help but feel a little bit safe with the both of them there with me, but I felt bad for leaving Eric back at the safe place.

"Watch your step here." Steve notifies me as I'm climbing up some broken down concrete of this building. "Got it." I said, I looked behind me to see Four hoist himself up the concrete and walked towards me. "You're not tired? We can stop, I-" I cut him off.

"Four, I'm perfectly fine. We just have to keep moving." I reassured him and he took in a breath, then looked behind him at Tris and Caleb. "Ella." Steve calls for me. I looked back at him and he was watching the buildings while holding a piece of paper.

"What is it?" I asked him as I climbed up towards him and he showed me the paper, which was a drawing I made a while ago. "You drew the view of the city from here." He answered handing me the paper.

There was a man standing right where I was, looking at the view while the sun was setting and I looked back at Steve.

"You know who it is?" Steve asked and I shook my head looking at the destroyed buildings. "You think it might be Eric?" I asked Sam and he shrugged his shoulders slightly. "Or your brother, or your father." He answered and I let out a sigh folding up the paper then hand it to him. Meanwhile, Caleb and Tris were talking, I was wondering who the man in the picture was. I was overthinking again.

"I'm not like you guys. I need to get back to Abnegation maybe..." Caleb trailed off and looked to the ground, almost like he was looking for an excuse.

"Maybe I can be useful there." He finished off.

"Caleb, there's nothing left in Abnegation." Tris pointed out to him, but he still walked away. "Ella." Four called and I looked to my side at my brother. "Your nose, it's bleeding." He pointed out. My fingertips touch my nostrils and I pulled away to see blood, then I feel Steve place a tissue on my nose gently.

"Are nosebleeds normal?" Tris asked us.

"Yes, they're completely normal." Steve answered. I grabbed the tissue as Steve let go and I wiped off the remaining blood. "Let's keep moving." I said to them.

As we were walking to Candor, a lot of things were capturing my eyes. Everywhere I looked there was green, and it was so mesmerizing. I never really saw the outside before, I could only see from the small window in my cage and it was calming, in a sense.

After walking for a while, we finally got to a building and we see some people notice us.

"Ella! Oh my god!" A feminine voice called through the crowd as they were walking towards us. "I'm so glad you're alive." A girl with short hair said pulling me in for a hug. Her hug gave me security, so I hugged her back and then we pulled away. "Whoa, love the hair." She compliments with a smile and I try to remember her face, but I couldn't.

"Who are you?" I asked her while the crowd was surrounding the four of us.

"Are you serious?" The girl asked and another woman appears, she had dreadlocks and a very chiseled face. "You're alive." She said and pulled me for a hug, I felt bad for not remembering them and I think Sam knew as well. The woman pulls away and a young man appears from behind her.

"You don't remember us." The man pointed out and everyone became quiet. "I'm Dan, we met on the train." He said and I looked at him still confused. "I put that butterfly tattoo on you." He added, but I still couldn't remember.

"She went through a lot, electro therapy being one of them." Steveexplained to them and they stared all at me. "Can we go inside?" I asked Sam and he nodded. "Isn't that the killer's girlfriend?" Someone asked in the crowd as Steve and I were walking up the steps. "Just keep looking ahead, Ella." Steve whispered to me and I took in a breath nodding. She improved lo

"Ella, there's about 175 Dauntless here." Four informed as he walked next to me and we go through the doors. "That's not enough." I pointed out and he nodded. "Hold it!" A man yelled as a group of soldiers come out of nowhere. Steve, Tris and Four quickly pull out their guns, and I get a red orb ready between my palms.

"Grab the guns!" A man ordered as they made a circle around us, one man goes for Four and I threw a red orb at him which throws him back. I make another orb and I feel a sting on my neck. "Ella!" Steve yelled running towards me as I fall to my knees. My body felt paralyzed and I was sleepy, I tried to fight it, but I fall to the side landing on the cold floor.
