School finally ended and my three friends and I went out to eat. We decided to go eat some pizza and then take a walk before heading over to my house. We went to the pizza shop and quickly ate so we could watch the sun set. Fortunately, it wasn't too cloudy outside so we all took a walk together.

"That pizza was really good! How come I didn't know about it before?" Jeno said happily.

I shrugged. "It was a place my grandfather and I always went to on occasion."

I smiled to myself, reminiscing the moments I shared together with him. Those times where I would cry to him about school and Yerim and what was going on. Those times where I could not stop laughing at the jokes he told me. Those times we would share thoughts and plans for the future. Those times where it felt like the time had just stopped, where everything just seemed like it couldn't be any happier. The beautiful moments that I shared with my grandfather were nothing but ecstasy.

"How is your grandfather now?" Jaemin asked.

"Uh, he passed away a few years ago." I said hesitantly.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I wish him well in his next life." Jaemin apologized.

I nodded. "It's alright. He's living well up there with many friends and with peace."

We arrived at the cliff spot to watch the sunset. I stared at the river before me, wondering what places had the water that flowed through it been to. What had they seen? What had the water experienced? Did they travel the world alone or together with the ones they loved?

I laid down on the grass, treasuring the sunset. After I ate pizza with my grandfather, we would always come to this park and watch the day to turn to night. We would find the constellations that were so familiar to our tongues. We would stare at the moon, basking in its beauty.

.tip. .tip. .tip.

Raindrops gently fell on my face. Soon, the rain that was once gently touching my face fell down with forceful strength.

"Mina, we should go. Do you have an umbrella?" Jaemin said. He took off his jacket, shielding him and I from the rain droplets.

I grabbed my bag and pulled out a black umbrella. "It can only fit one person. You take it. I'll walk home in the rain. I love the rain." I handed him the umbrella and then closed my eyes once more.

"No, we can't have you being sick." He said.

I heard Jaemin open the umbrella and put on his jacket. I opened my eyes and saw him staring down at me. I blushed and looked away.

"C'mon. Let's go. We'll walk together." Jaemin said, standing up.

I stood up with him and began to walk.

Yeseul and Jeno had already headed to my house. Yeseul had been to my house countless times so she knew the way from any direction.

I felt an arm snake around my waist. I stiffed at the contact.

"Relax, it's just me." Jaemin said.

I relaxed slightly, but I was still unfamiliar with this contact. His cologne relaxed me a little bit. A mix of cinnamon, rose and peach. I liked it. It was comforting and familiar because my grandfather always had a cinnamon scent on him.

Together, we walked back to my house. Yeseul and Jeno waited for us by my front gate. The entire way there, Jaemin had his arm around my waist. I entered the code to my gate and we walked inside.

"Good evening Mistress. Have you and your friends eaten already?" One of the maids greeted as we walked inside my house.

"We have. Thank you for asking Elena. They will be staying the night so could please get some pajamas for them? Also, if it isn't too much to ask, could you make us some snacks?" I asked.
