Krispy (Kris x Reader)

Your group went on one side while the other group was in the opposite direction.

"Let's pretend you are in a battle with me," Ralsei said.

A red soul appeared. Well it didn't actually appeared it came from Kris though you didn't know how that happened. You decide not to question it.

"Since both of you are human, the most determined soul will appear, in this case it is Kris', but in all cases, your soul is the very culmination of your being," he continued, " If the soul gets hit with an enemy's attack either you or your friends will loose HP,"

"H-how do you know who is going to be hit?"

"There would be a red glow during their attack," Kris said.

"Yes, and if everyone looses HP, we would loose the battle, " Ralsei added, "Let's practice dodging first!"

A red glow surrounded you. Ralsei castes small balls of fire. The balls of fire were going at a steady pace that way it would be easier to dodge which you were able to.

"After and enemy attacks, it would be you team's turn? One way to win a fight is by fighting the enemy, but this concept isn't really necessary since there are other peaceful ways to end it," Ralsei explained.

"In your case, you don't have any weapons equiped on you, so you wouldn't be able to fight either way, " he added.

"I-i-i never really wanted to hurt someone in the first place s-so it works for me," you said.

"The next part is defending umm... it looks like you don't have that much armor, so the attacks would be more critical,"

"Ralsei I still have the white ribbon," Kris said holding it up. Kris walked up to you.

"U-um Kris I-i don't really know how to uh put on a ribbon, haha," you laughed sheepishly.

"I'll put it on you then," they insisted.

They were now very close to you. They have been this close to you before but now you were very self-conscious about it. Why do I feel like this? It was a very weird experience.

"There," they said, "You look cute with it," You can feel your heart beating faster.

"U-u-uh," you were speechless.

"It isn't much but you won't get hurt as much,"

"Now let's try defending!" Ralsei said.

"O-oh yeah," you try to defend.

"Because of this you would have gathered some TP. With enough TP either Susie, Noelle, or I can use it for spells,"

"H-how come Kris and I can't cast spells?"

"I'm not really sure why but only monsters could cast them,"

"O-oh okay Ralsei,"

"I am going to check on Susie and Noelle to see how they are doing. Kris is it okay if you can teach Y/N about acting and sparing?"

Kris gave a thumbs up.

"Okay then!" Ralsei walked towards Susie and Noelle.

It's just the two of us. Again. But why does it feel different?

"I don't really want to say much but acting is also a way to win a battle. Depending on who you battle you may have to act a certain way. Once they feel satisfied, you can spare them,"

"O-oh um okay, I-i think I got that,"

You look through your acting options. You sunk. You would either had to flirt with Kris or hug him.

"U-uh why do I do this to myself?" you wished you picked hugging instead of flirting.

"Just say something that you would want someone else to tell you," Kris wanted to help you.

"Okay u-um are you a 30 degree angle? Because you're acute-y. O-oh go that was horrible," you laughed at yourself.

"No- no, that wasn't horrible, maybe a little.. b-but that's not the point right now," they reassure you, "It was pretty okay for the first try, but why math related?"

"I-it was the easiest thing I could make up at the spot, s-so yeah, s-sorry,"

"It's fine, maybe I can... nevermind," you can see Kris very flustered.

On the other side with Susie, Noelle, and Ralsei...

"Yeah we've just been sitting here for the past 15- 20 minutes," Susie said.

"Susie was explaining me all the things just not while battling, b-but she explained it very well," Noelle explained to Ralsei.

"Oh well as long as you understand how to, then I'm fine with that!" Ralsei smiled.

"Oh! And we figured out how to use the bow too!"

"That's wonderful!" Ralsei clapped, " We should go back with Y/N and Kris now,"

"Na, let's not," Susie declined.

"Why not?"

"They look like they're having fun, I've never seen Kris talk this much with someone before, nevertheless  blush, like at all,"

"Oh! Haha they do seem quite adorable together," Ralsei said.

They looked at you and Kris. Both of you were laughing and smiling at each other. You wanted to see what the others were doing so you turned around only to see them looking back at you guys.

"W-what are you guys looking at?" you asked.

"Oh nothing," Noelle waved back at you.

"Well it looks like you guys are finished so what now?" Kris asked.

"I don't know," you shrugged.

"Hey! We should go see Lancer, I haven't seen the little guy yet!" Susie exclaimed.

"Who is Lancer, Susie?" Noelle questioned.

"Ohoho, you guys are going love him!"

"So I guess we are going to his castle then," Ralsei said.

"Yeah! Let's go!"
