Random Stuff And Tags

(Disclaimer: Major Spoilers for UnOrdinary, a webtoon in case you don't know, in general)

Basically, I'mma rant here random thoughts I have on UnOrdinary while trying to not jump up and down in anticipation for the season finale.

UnOrdinary was the second webtoon I've ever read. The first was Lore Olympus (and it's a mystery to me how I've found it because I never actively search for romantic stories).

I fell in love with it and honestly, I always was a bit suspicious of John being a cripple.

From episode 3 onwards I was already sure that there's more to him then meets the eye. What, with him sensing something invisible? It was unusual, not even Sera noticed it.

I mentioned it a few times, but I've read UnOrdinary 4 times + a fifth time or more for some favorites of mine. I was about to lose count on how many times I've read it XD

And I was never bored reading it. Not even the 4th time. I still kept noticing things I didn't notice before.

Oh, I didn't mention my fav characters! Obviously, John is one. Isen is also my favorite. John and Isen are very often fighting for 1st place, but I just can't choose...

The episode with their fight broke my heart, honestly :c

Anyway! Sera and Arlo are also characters I like! Maybe 2nd place?

The Doc deserves a mention.

Remi and Blyke? To be fair, I don't hate them. I don't dislike them. But I don't like them. I'm neutral with them. They're interesting characters, but just not my type.

Elaine? Conflicting. For some reason, she ranks higher than Remi for me (I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I HAVE AGAINST REMI! IT'S ILLOGICAL, but I don't have control over that...) but Elaine is lower than Doc.

I'm not sure on Cecile. I get this "I'll stab you in the back when I have the occasion" vibe, but I know she's not really like that. Cecile is new territory even tho she's been in quite a few episodes already.

Headmaster Vaughn is a mystery and I'm intrigued.

Holden (the guy Arlo hangs around) is not so mysterious or anything, tho we don't know his ability yet, if I'm not mistaken... He seems like a sweetheart to me.

Evie (it's Evie, right? I'm slightly sleepy and tired, don't judge me)? Dear, she's a true sweetheart. An adorable bean. An innocent angel that needs to be protected.

Now into a bit of character analysis for my faves.

Sera has a lot in common with me actually. I could understand being under pressure from school and society. I loved her from the start. She doesn't deserve the shitty hand life dealt her.

She's so amazing! I'm truly hoping she'll get her ability back...

Arlo is very complicated and I love it. At the beginning, he was a douche and tbh, I didn't get a very good impression. I value intelligence and he seemed to be a sleazy scum bag when he asked Sera to join the Turf Wars once again.

Later, he proved to be smart and sneaky and I started to tolerate him. He still wasn't acting very nice.

I really appreciate his character development! Especially in recent episodes. He realized his mistakes. He wanted to fix them. Unfortunately for him, it was too late. But with the last episode ending, Arlo stepping in to protect Remi, he showed he didn't give up.

He wants only the best. With bringing Sera in the Turf wars, he wanted for her to take back the throne of queen which he thought was meant for her (or at least, partially what he thought. He didn't dislike Remi, but believed the strongest must take the throne).
