We walked inside of the party and almost immediately Hideyo squeals and I follow her eyes to what she was so happy about.
I shouldn't have been surprised to see Tony, but I was surprised to see that a tight shirt. It probably would've been small on even me so I wasn't sure why he was wearing it. Especially since he didn't have much to show off, no abs, no muscular arms.
I found my eyes shifting to Shinso behind me, if he was the one wearing that shirt I could see why."I'm gonna go hang out with Tony," Hideyo dismissed herself, "Talk to you guys later and..." her eyes also traveled to Shinso, "Don't let this one get too drunk, she gets violent."
"I'll keep that in mind," Shinso agreed as Hideyo walked away.
"Thanks!" She spoke over her shoulder before turning to ogle her boyfriend.
"I don't get violent," I argue but she was already too far to hear me even if it was only a few feet. The music was so loud that I had to raise my voice to speak to someone who was a few inches away from me. "I'm just not as lenient."
"You're never lenient," Shinso stated with a scoff, "And the violence doesn't surprise me."
I glared at him jokingly but the comment jabbed at me a little. Am I really that bad of a person to be considered violent? I let it slide, only because my comment in the car about the Sports Festival seemed to bother him too.
"Well fine," I groaned, "Maybe I get a little testy."
Shinso chuckled and I was surprised to see he was enjoying himself at an event like this, "Have you even beaten someone up?"
"Not that I can remember," I replied bashfully, "But Hideyo told me that I punched a girl while I was wasted before."
Shinso held back a grin, "I doubt you did much damage though, I've fought you before and was overwhelmed by how easy it was."
"You used your quirk," I argued, "When you're under mind control it's hard to do things, such as punching the person that's controlling you." I glared at him again.
"Well you let yourself get controlled," he replied after a moment of thought, "Was it really that unbearable?"
"No," I said immediately, thinking of a way to describe it, "It was like I was watching a movie through a first person point of view. Well, I could feel everything and think, but my thoughts were the only thing I could control."
"Wow," he looked at me strange an I couldn't quite understand why, "What's your quirk like?"
"Oh," I rubbed the back of my neck, "I can release shock pulses through my fingertips." I let a small one ripple off and I felt the electricity dance through my arm making it jolt at the sensation.
"That seems like a good hero quirk," he mumbled and I almost couldn't hear him so I could've been mistaken but... did I hear jealousy?
"Not really, my body can't handle the backlash and I shock myself when I use it," an embarrassed flush spread across my face. It was unusual to have a body that wasn't toned to fit your quirk.
"Yeah but you could get over that," there it was, the jealousy again. Now I knew I wasn't mistaken.
I smiled lightly, "But having a mind control quirk is so much cooler, you could just order the villains to hand themselves in."
"It's not that easy, especially if they know how my quirk works," Shinso replied, still eyeing up my fingertips.
"Well that's enough quirk talk for now," I changed the subject, not liking the somewhat serious turn it was taking. "Let's get some cheap booze!"
