From her move from the rough streets of Chicago after the murder of her brother to the ghetto busy streets of Atlanta, Adryian learns what its really like to deal with the devil himself.
Adryian held on to her daughter Audrey in her arms, trying to get her to calm down from crying, like the bad ass kids they were, Audrey and Kelsey had gotten into a fight and Kelsey bit her, leaving a teeth mark on her cheek. Both of the little girls ended up getting popped at Audrey's own birthday party and now Adryian was consoling her.
"Awww, it's okay baby." Adryian said, she rubbed her back as her crying ceased.
Having a grand daughter and a daughter close to age was the last thing Adryian wanted but she accepted it and loved both of them equally. Kelsey was the sensitive, reserved, shy one and Audrey was the out going, active and loud one that reminded everyone of Kasuan, she was worse than how Sehkani was at her age. Today was Audrey's birthday and you know how Adryian and Kasuan got when it came to birthday parties so they were throwing her a Disney Princess themed birthday party at the house.
" Her bad ass, ma you don't even need to be babying her. She's wrong." Sehkani complained.
" Didn't I baby you when you was wrong? " Adryian replied. Sehkani shrugged, she was right. Once Audrey had calmed down, she immediately wanted to get down. "I need you to take some pictures real quick." She said before waving the photographer over.
Sehkani sucked his teeth " Ma come on " he complained. He wanted to get back to the dice game he was in.
" Boy just take the damn picture with your sister " Adryian snapped " it's gone be quick ". She grabbed Audrey and wiped her face before making her stand next to her brother." Kelsey " She yelled at Kelsey who stood quietly at the candy table stuffing her mouth with candy.
As soon as she came over, Adryian positioned both girls in front of Sehkani. "Say cheese."

Both girls flashed big smiles as the photographer took the picture. In the midst of taking more pictures, Kasuan had arrived.
" Daddy! " Audrey yelled running off towards him, holding her arms out for him to pick her up and so did Kelsey. The girls adored him and just like that, Kasaun would be the only one they paid attention to the whole party.
