Sammy Lawrence x Reader

Sammy grabbed the majority of the supplies before everyone else woke up. Allison had insisted that everyone slept prior to the long journey ahead. Although the ink machine wasn't far, everyone had been exhausted both mentally and physically by everything happening around them.
"I'll carry that!" You grab a bag from Sammy swiftly so he has no time to complain.
"Fine-" He rolls his eyes.
"Tom can lead the way, he knows exactly where to go." Allison says proudly. Tom nods.
"Okay!" You smile, linking arms with Sammy playfully. He laughs softly in response.
"You're so energetic."
"I suppose I am!" You walk along behind Tom with Sammy at your side.
You all continued your journey before the ink machine emerged into view. A large pond of ink surrounded the massive machine.
"Hold on a second-" Sammy says, grabbing your arm. "Allison, Tom, are you able to walk in that?"
Allison thought for a moment.
"No, I don't think we can.."
Sammy curses quietly before setting the bag down.
"You might be able to." Henry suggests.
"I can sure as hell try." He scoffs frustratedly.
You stand there nervously trying to think of a solution.
"If I die, I'm coming back and killing you all." Sammy mumbles, touching the ink gingerly with his hand.
Nothing happens.
"I... Think I'm okay?" He says as he removes his hand from the ink.
"You are?" You ask happily.
"Mhm.." He looks at you with a gentle smile. "I guess you won't have to leave me behind after all."
"I would never!" You giggle, hugging him close.
"Are you two coming?" Henry asks Allison and Tom. They shake their heads hesitantly.
"I'm not sure how Sammy is able to cross, but I've tried and.. it doesn't end well." Allison shudders.
Sammy sighs, looking at them.

"See you on the other side, I suppose."
