Author's POV

Taehyung tossed the newspaper on the table, his head hurting after reading the news about him.

Famous model Kim Taehyung causes a scene in an event with a business tycoon.

He groaned in frustration as he settled on the couch, hands massaging his temple at the thought of his name being all over the news.

And it's not even a good one.

"Fuck." Taehyung cursed, remembering how he just went out of the runway like a total fool just to be turned down by Jungkook.

Jungkook.

After 5 years of waiting, he finally saw him again. However, he's still mad at him.

Taehyung sighed. He couldn't blame Jungkook for being angry at him. He did something unforgivable and now he must deal with his wrath.

Seeing him again for the first time sends Taehyung into overdrive. The way his heart beats so fast on his chest when their eyes met. The way his senses became numb to his surroundings. How his emotions just went into chaos, his mind unable to think rationally.

Damn. After all these years, Taehyung still loves him.

"Here. Drink this."

Jimin came to his side, snapping Taehyung out of his thoughts. He handed a medicine and water to him, wanting to make him feel better.

"You shouldn't think about those news Tae. It will eventually die down just like every other news." Jimin smiled at him, trying to lighten up the heavy mood surrounding him.

Taehyung nodded his head. "I'm sorry." He murmured, unable to look at his friend's eyes.

Jimin took his hand and squeezed it tenderly. "Love, there's nothing to be sorry about. You didn't ruin the show. It's perfect. So don't go on reading and believing those fucked up news." He assured, pressing Taehyung's hand with his own.

Taehyung sighed. His eyes travelled back on the newspaper where there's a picture of him and Jungkook.

"He must really be pissed right now." Taehyung whispered, pertaining to the ravenette.

Jimin followed where his eyes are looking to and instantly understood. "Why would he be? It's his fault for showing up in our event after all these years." Jimin retorted, voice full of hatred for Jungkook.

Taehyung shakes his head. "He has all the right to be angry, Jimin. I dragged his name all over the news."

Jimin rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Oh for fuck sake! Just forget about him Tae. Don't fucking care whether he gets angry with you even more. It's better that way so both of you could just move on."

"I still love him." Taehyung confessed, his voice soft and full of emotions he doesn't know he still have.

Jimin just stared at him as they went into a deep silence.

Taehyung could feel his heart clenching. He bit his lower lip as waves of emotions wash over him. He felt his tears trickling down his face, his heart aching so bad.

"Oh babe." Jimin hugged him, his hand caressing his back, trying to comfort him.

Taehyung finds himself sobbing on his best friend's shoulder. The emotions that he tried to hide from yesterday now flows like a tidal wave.

"I-I still love him, Chim." Taehyung cried out, his sobs filling the whole room.

"Hush, baby. I understand." Jimin comforted. He held his best friend so tight, wanting to make him feel the support and love he needed in that moment.
