Aryll POV:
Word got out that my brother was in a coma. I'm guessing Lilith spread it as a bad thing. People look at me weirdly. I get pulled out of class by teachers a lot more; students are treating me with pity. I shouldn't have said anything about Link. I sat at my class before lunch in boredom. My mind drifted to Zelda and how she's doing. I was interrupted by a tap on my shoulder. I turned my head to see one of the "popular" girls. She leaned over to me as she whispered, "Is it true your brother is in a coma? That's what Lilith said and she never lies." I just nodded and turned back to the teacher. The girl tapped my shoulder again. I rolled my eyes before turning around again. "Why are you in school then? Shouldn't you be with him?" I shrugged, "His friend is with him. She's missing school to help. She's really good with that kind of stuff. I don't need to be in her way." The girl fake pouted. "You should at least visit." I looked at her like she was stupid, she was. "What do you think I do everyday?" I knew that was a lie. I didn't visit often, I trusted Zelda. She would take care of him; I know that. I turned back around; now not in the mood to talk. Sometimes I can be really talkative at times but for some reason I stop talking. I honestly think it runs in the family. Link does it all the time. I happens more in public but since Zelda came along; it happens less. I glad honestly. I heard the teacher call my name. I raced my head up to her. "Aryll, the office needs you." I shrugged, "Okay?" The girl behind me raced her hand, "Teacher, shouldn't someone go with her?" I grabbed my books and shook my head, "I'm fin-" "Yes Teresa, I think that would be a great idea. Would you like to go?" The teacher had interrupted me. I sighed to myself as Teresa nodded. I walked out of the classroom with her railing behind me. We walked to my locker slowly. I was tired and honestly done with being here. Teresa crossed her arms, "Do you think that your brother makes you cooler than Lilith?" I shrugged, "Why would it even matter? She complains about her life all the time; I got annoyed so I mentioned my brother. So sorry I didn't want to hear about her sister being in a big crash." The girl narrowed her eyes, "Okay, what about you saying why we have to walk home in pairs? It's her sister's fault because of that crash you didn't want to hear about." I giggled, "Honey, we have to walk home in pairs because a girl went missing while walking home. Her name is a Amara and she makes the best rolls; Link told me about her. Just like all of his other problems. We're siblings, that's what we do. Now is that the only reason you wanted to go with me?" Teresa rolled her mascara covered eyes, "Yeah right, you know the reason for everything. I don't believe you. Who the hell is this Amara girl and why would her life matter?" I felt my hand raise. I slapped her face as I glared at her. "Why would her life matter? What the hell is wrong with you? Of course it matters; she was my brother's friend. The girl who helped the whole group of them. Unlike you she wasn't a bitch!" I ran the rest of the way to my locker. I unlocked it and shoved my books in it. I used to care about keeping it neat but it's been getting worse. I grunted as I felt my eyes water. How could someone be so cruel? I walked to the office as I wiped my eyes. I opened the door and went to the receptionist. "Um, you wanted to see me?" The women looked up, "ah, Aryll. Yes, the principal wanted to meet with you. Knock on his door." I gulped. Why would he want to see me? "Okay, thank you." I knocked on his office door. He answered and quickly waved me in. I looked at Minda who was sitting in his office, "Yo little Link." I sat down next to her, "Why are you here Na?" Minda looked down, "I'm worried about Zel. She hasn't left that building since I convinced that doctor to let her stay. And Amara, she hasn't been found yet." I nodded my head, "To be perfectly honest, I'm done with all of this mess." The principal cleared his throat, "You know each other?" Minda patted my head, "Yup, this is Link's little sister. I've only met her when she ran into my home room to get Zel." I nodded. The man smiled, "Good. Big groups are good." His smile faded, "I am worried about how Aryll is using the situation though. Word has gotten to me that you are one upping the girls with this?" I shook my head, "No sir. Lilith was the only person I told before she went around blabbing it. I'm partnered with her to walk home; she only complains about her so called "horrible life". I was tired of it so I asked a simple question." Midna looked at me, "What was that?" I looked at the principal in the eyes, "Have you have to deal with your brother in a coma because he let himself get beaten up or have your brother's friend go missing on the day he went to the hospital?" The principal adjusted his glasses, "Well I'm not going to argue with this but why would you mention the last bit?" I sighed, "Because she was using her sister's car crash as a reason why we have to walk in pairs. I was annoyed she was using Amara being missing as a gain for more popularity." Midna crossed her arms and nodded. The principal sighed, "Yes that makes sense. I am sorry for pulling you out of class-Martha did you need something?" I turned my head to see the receptionist at the door. "Aryll, Teresa is reporting you had slapped her?" I bit my lip, "Yes I did." The principal rubbed his forehead, "Why would you hit someone?" I felt the lump in my throat grow. I wanted to cry into Link's arms like I would when I was little. I looked at Midna, "Because she said-God I cant even say it.." Midna smiled, "Then sign it, Zelda said you were good." I nodded slowly. I signed her horrible sentence. Midna looked at the principal, "I'm guessing you don't know sign?" He shook his head. Midna was glaring, "She said; Who the hell is this Amara girl and why would her life matter?" The room fell silent. I hugged myself tightly, "Can I go home now?" Tears were dripping down my face. Midna rubbed my back, "Yeah, we're leaving now." The principal smiled softly, "I'll talk to her. I hope she's found soon. No work today dear; you get some rest." Midna led my out of the room. Teresa was sitting in the main room. She glared at me; I ignored her. Midna and I were already out the door.

We walked to Minda's house. We were greeted by her dog who was patiently waiting. Midna picked the pup up and let me in. I sat down at the kitchen with the pup trying to climb up onto my lap. I picked him up as he started to lick off my tears. Midna got out a box of Mac n Cheese. She smiled, "We'll eat then go visit him, Kay?" I nodded as I scratched the pup's ears. Midna quickly got the water to boil and made the box. She brought out dog food and poured a bowl before washing her hands again. She got me a plate and slid it toward me. I smiled, "Thanks." Midna nodded as she got herself a plate, "No problem little Link." I quickly ate, excited to see Link but not at the same time. Midna seemed to be focusing on her dog more than her food. I finished and looked at Midna. The short girl was picking at her food. She noticed me looking at her making her jump and shove her food down her throat in lightning speed. I smiled, "Let's go then?" Midna nodded. She grabbed her lanyard full of keys and we walked out the door. She opened her garage which held her parent's car and her motorcycle. She handed me a helmet and jacket. I blinked, "We're going on a motorcycle?!" Minda was throwing her hair up into a bun. She shrugged, "Why not?" I laughed, "Link would kill you if he found out." Minda held up the peace sign, "I'm a cool mom." I giggled as I placed the helmet on my head and buttoned up the jacket. She pulled out the key and sat down on the seat. I sat behind her and wrapped my pale arms around her waist. She smiled at me as she started the engine. We sped down the street toward the hospital. I closed my eyes against the harsh wind as I hoped that Link would wake up.
I walked in with Minda. We had stopped and picked up a box of chocolates for Zelda. Midna was walking up the stairs ahead of me as I slowed down, "Do you think he's okay?" Midna smiled, "Of course!" I smiled and caught up with her. I held the box of chocolates against my chest as we walked to his room. I looked in to here Zelda crying. A nurse was in rhe room with her. She yelled out, "We need the doctor! Heart rate is dropping!" Another nurse came running with the doctor. I was shoved into Midna my a different nurse, "You shouldn't be here." I dropped the box as I watched the nurses close the door.
I was sitting in class the next day still in shock. Midna said he would be fine. He was supposed to wake up. Why is this happening? I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Lilith with Teresa. Limit did her little hair flip, "So, why were you let go?" I sighed, "I went to go visit." Lilith laughed, "Yeah, and is he dead yet?" I stood up, my bangs creating a shadow over my face. Teresa laughed, "What are you going to do? Hit us?" I looked in Lilith's eyes. I raised my hand and punched her face. I slammed my fist into her stomach. I threw my elbow into Teresa. My eyes were filled with tears as a group grew. Lilith tried throwing a punch at me but I grabbed her fist and tossed her against the lockers. I wiped my eyes as my voice shook, "I'll have you know that I saw his heart beat drop. He's going to wake up. I'm tired of hearing about it. This is my problem so...so mind your damn business!" I ran out of the building before anyone could stop me. I covered my face as i leaned on the outside wall. I slide down until I could sit down. I sobbed into my hands as the sky exploded with rain. At least the sky knew how I felt.
