Seeing Through Lies Part 3

     Pri locked eyes with another behind Nine, Five, and Eight. Nine notices and turned his head. His eyes landed on Jaxafron, The Eighth who didn't seem to have any interest in jumping into the fight. "Jaxafron! You know you're much more powerful than all of them combined! Be on our side! You know you're one of us!"

     Jaxafron only scoffs as the whole team turned their attention to her. You watched her every movement incase she planned on randomly attacking. And at this point, you had to fight more, having Zero busy with keeping hold of Pri. Four stood just about a meter or two from you, his sniper was strapped to his back but his augs were in no doubt, ready to activate.

     Jaxafron lets her arms fall to her side and the team stiffens, thinking she may actually join in fighting. She sees Four move to grab the gun strapped to his hip but she launched forward with incredible speed as if lightning zapped by. Her foot kicked Four's hand away and her hand grabbed the gun he was supposedly reaching for and aimed it right back at him as she stood there with another gun of her own in the other hand.

     "Don't even think about it." Was her calm statement and Four growled, attempting to lash out but Nine silently told him 'no'.

     Nine looks to Six who then went right for Jax and hit her head. She staggered to get back on a balanced composition but Four jumped right in and kicked under her knees. She fell back for a second, but easily shifted her defense to attack him with a reverse spin kick before landing back up on her feet. You joined them, feeling adrenaline rush through your veins, and gave her a punch in the open. Jaxafron seemed fazed for a second as she recovered from the strong attack you gave her. But your eyes widened as she easily spun around and kicked you right in your stomach, the unseen event caused you to roll on the ground, Zero having to help you up as you held your stomach with one hand.

     You hissed at the feeling, "Shit.. You okay?" You shook your head at his question, hoping it doesn't get him too worried. Five eyed Jaxafron, the attack was too familiar for the situation. But he didn't want hunches.

     Six attacks with multiple kicks and punches, Four was parallel behind her, giving a series of deadly attacks which she, somehow, easily avoided. The more she only avoided them, the more they only gritted their teeth in annoyance. But grabbing onto her forearm and knocking her elbow right in Six's jaw, Four's eyes widened as Jaxafron pulled out the same gun she held earlier, pulling the trigger.............. but the bullet shattered a hole into the Dome instead.

     Relief resided in you as One stepped in. The look in her eyes was unreadable as she held Jaxafron's gun with both of her hands, forcing them to face up, away from Six or anyone else.

     "Looks like you found her after all." Pri muttered, her eyes on One as the assassin struggled to hold the gun up while she eyes 'Seventeen', asking through her eyes, "Why would you do that!?".

Jax pays no mind and shoved her aside, Four landing a grip under her arms to keep her steady. Two from The Seven were suddenly behind Zero, tackling him and pinning him on his stomach as they held him against the floor. All the others approached quickly to hold Four and Nine. Jaxafron took a hold of One and caught you as well, making you fall to your knees as she twisted your wrists behind your backs.

"A-agh! L-...Let go!" You move to stand back up but Jaxafron hits your neck with the side of her right hand. A nauseous feeling started to invade your head. Feeling dizzy, you fall limp to the ground, hearing most of Alpha yell out, "Seven!!", as they called you in alarm. Zero tried to get back up, only to be kicked in his jaw by Argon, the tall guy who held him. Blood flowed from his mouth as he coughed up. "Zero stay down." Nine calmly told the maknae. Zero faced him and seeing how stern and concerned he looked, he decided to listen to his leader's words.
