There was a bright flash and Time Steve woke up. Where, he didn't know. he hoped that he would be okay. Wherever he was. He realized he was laying on what looked to be a portal like the one that was in the in-between when you dropped down into the lobby.
He looked around. Darkness all around him closing in on him from all sides. He didn't like it. Just then, he heard whispers. The atmosphere shifted into something more calming.
"Who's there?" Said Time Steve, scared. The whispers stopped all together. He frantically swiveled around on his feet as a figure appeared behind him. He recognized it immediately. "E-Elemental?" The figure started walking toward him.
When the two Steve's were face to face, Elemental smiled. "Hello again, brother of mine." Time Steve jumped into his arms as tears fell off his cheeks.
They were together again.
"Come on. Let's go." Elemental carried his younger brother into the inky darkness.
