Just Friends (Sketch x Reader)

Elijah's POV

I got down on one knee.
"Skylee, would you make me the luckiest man in the world and be my wife?" I blurted out. I am so scared that she'll say no. I looked into her eyes and she started crying and hugged me.
"Yes! A million times yes!" she said. I felt relieved and happy. I pulled her in a tighter hug and our lips collided. It started getting heated so she pulled off and just stared at me. I can't believe it. The person I love most is going to marry me! I picked her up bridal style and headed towards the house. I slid the diamond ring on that I bought two weeks ago and she squealed. I unlocked the door and walked inside with Skylee still in my arms. Alex and Denis looked at me, while Ethan, Corl and Brooklin were on the couch watching T.V.

Denis's POV

FLASHBACK TWO WEEKS AGO

I lied on Brooklin's bed on my phone and Elijah walks in.
"Hey man. I gotta show you something" he said. He walked closer to me and I was honestly scared he'd show me something weird like a frog he found outside. He pulled a box out of his pocket and I knew what it was. He opened the box.
"Yes Elijah! Why didn't you ask me sooner?" I teased. He glared at me and then gave me a hug.
"I'm nervous. I don't know when the right time is" he said running his fingers through his hair.
"You'll know. I'm not experienced in engaging but I know that you'll know when the time is right" I said seriously.

END OF FLASHBACK

Elijah walked in beaming. Skylee was also beaming and had a massive ring on her finger. Brooklin did a double take and ran over to Skylee while getting a head rush. She squealed and Elijah let Skylee go. Alex and Corl got up and Ethan was sleeping. Elijah looked at me.
"Watch this" he mouthed. He walked over to Ethan and laid a kiss on his forehead. Ethan's eyes shot open and he punched Elijah. Karma's a bitch. Elijah ribbed his cheek and Ethan had his fists in the air.
"Why the hell did you do that?" they both asked.
"I wanted to wake you up but that wasn't the best plan" Elijah said. Skylee is squealing her lungs out yelling, "SKETHAN!!!!!" Ethan saw the massive ring on Skylee's hand while she was waving them around and walked up to her. He grabbed her hand and just stared at it.
"Good job Lije. You tried cheating on your soon-to-be wife with me. I knew you couldn't resist me." he said cockily.
"I apologize for the inconvenience Mrs. Best" Elijah said. I looked at Skylee and a chill ran down her spine. Hehe.
