Batman and Robin were sitting in the Batcave, studying the spliced DNA.
So far they couldn't find anything.
Anyone who could've survived this and gained these animal abilities would be stuck like this permanently. As of right now, there was no cure. Robin was just glad that Wally made it out ok with no side effects.

It still worried him though, they still kept his tests down at the cave. To monitor if anything has changed. So far it's all the same, maybe his metabolism did eat through it. That'd be the blessing of being a speedster.
"Robin head to the mountain, you have training in 10 minutes," Commanded Batman
"Yea, ok bats," He grumbled, sulking off to the cave.

When he arrived he noticed everyone was there.
Everyone but Wally that is.
"Where's KF?" He decided to ask.
"We do not know. He is not answering our calls," Stated Aqualad in his calm, soothing voice.
"I'll try and get ahold of him," Robin said, walking off to his room.

After the third time, Wally finally answered, "hey, dude, what's up?"

"You are aware we have training in less than 5 minutes, right?" He asked, slightly annoyed, walking back to the team, putting Wally on speaker.

"Can't I have just one pass today. I'm kinda busy at the moment," Wally groaned.

"If you do you'll be getting an extra hour of training tomorrow." Stated Black Canary, walking through the doors.

"Yes! Thank you BC, I-"

"With Batman," She finished with a smirk.

All went silent, all you could hear was the team's laughter, or in Robin's case, cackle.
None of them thought he would do it. What could be so important to risk training with The Batman?

"... Sure, I'll do it. What time?" Wally asked.

Everyone was shocked by that, even Black Canary.
"After school, as usual," she decided with a smirk back in place.

"I'll be there," Said Wally with determination in his voice. He soon hung up not even giving a goodbye.

"What could be so important, that he'd risk that!?" Asked Robin in exasperation.
"Aww, is whittle Robin jealous that Wally's not hanging out with him?" Cooed Artemis to the younger boy.
"No," He growled out, sounding a lot like Batman.
"That's enough. Team get in line. Class is in session," Black Canary called.

*Earlier today with Wally*

It was 12 o'clock by the time they got to her next apartment. They had stopped along the way to get paint, Selina saying how dull the apartments were. The apartment building was a lot nicer than her last one, Wally couldn't help but to whistle.

"This must have cost a fortune!" He exclaimed looking around.
"It does, but I can pay it." She stated. He gave her a knowing/disapproving look, before helping her carry the items.
Once in he marveled at how beautiful the place was.
"Alright, help me lay this stuff out, and then we can start painting," Selina said.

"Really?" Wally asked, with an unknown look in his eyes.
"Of course. You help me, I help you. Simple." She finished, with a sincere smile. Wally smiled, speeding around, laying down the paper, and opening the paint.

"Woah there Kitten! No speed. We're gonna do this the normal, fun way." She said with a glare.
"Sorry Selina," He apologized, going back to normal speed. They started painting the walls a gray color, leading all the way to the kitchen. Halfway through around 4, Wally got a call.

"Hey, dude, what's up," Wally said, putting him on speaker.

"You are aware that we have training in less than 5 minutes, right?" Asked Robin.

Wally looks over at the clock shocked, then back at Selina, who's just watching the whole thing.

"Can't I have just one pass for today. I'm kinda busy at the moment," Wally groaned, Selina smiled to herself.

'You should go,' she mouthed to him. In return he flicked paint at her, shaking his head no with a smile.

"If you do you'll be getting an extra hour of training tomorrow," Stated Black Canary.

Wally sighed with relief, "yes! Thank you BC, I-"

"With Batman," She finished, he can just hear the smirk on her face. It didn't help that he heard giggling in the background.

"... Sure, I'll do it. What time?" He questioned.

All was silent, then finally,
"After school, like usual." Stated Black Canary.

"I'll be there," Stated Wally with a look of determination in his eyes. After that, he hung up, then groaned to himself, "I am so gonna have to drop it on the down-low a lot tomorrow about my random agility."
Selina chuckled, "you can worry about that over lunch. We're halfway done so hurry up if you're hungry."
"We won't get finished until dinner though," Groaned Wally.
All Selina did was chuckle at his expense.

*Time Skip*

After a few more hours, sometime around 6, they finally got finished. They each cleaned up and headed out to get something to eat, waiting for the paint to dry. "We also have to get new furniture," Selina said, taking a sip of her drink.
"Mkay," Wally said with a mouthful of burgers.

"We'll do my room tomorrow, ok?" Asked Selina.
"I can't. Training with bats, remember?" Said Wally defeated.
"Hmm.. You can always miss school like you did today... " She said giving him a pointed, if not disappointed look.
She kept wondering why she kept getting this protective feeling towards the kid, even though she's known him for a couple of days before he interrupted her thoughts.

"Schools lame. I'm a year or two ahead of everyone. Plus I have no friends so what's the point," He finished off with a grumble that Selina had to strain her ears to hear him. She looked over with pity, it never was easy being the smart kid.

They sat in silence for a bit, "sooo..?" Started Wally.
"Sooo?" She counteracted with a soft smile.
"So when are we going to start my training to gain control?" He whispered, in case anyone was listening.
"Hmm, haven't thought much of it. I was just really going to wing it." She finishes with a final slurp of her drink.
He stared, trying to figure out if she was joking or not, "what?" He asked dumbfounded.
"Hm, you heard me," She said with a raised eyebrow.

They sat there in silence some more before Wally noticed the time.
"Crap! I'm late! Oh god, dads gonna kill me!" He shoots up and bolts for the door. "Sorry for the inconvenience Selina! I'll try to see you soon! Bye!" And with a final wave, he was gone.

Selina sighs to herself, hoping the boy wouldn't leave. She had a theory of where those bruises came from.
She hasn't forgotten about them.
On the contrary, it made her do some research.
She just hoped her theory was wrong. With those thoughts clouding her mind she sets the money down on the table and leaves.
