"OMGGGGGGG! NO!" I screamed. "Shots fired, shots fired!" The officer yelled. I ran over to Robert. Robert was shot! He was not moving. Shot down in cold blood."Why did you shoot him? He wasn't armed or anything. Oh my god! Robert get up!" I cried. "Shut your mouth and get back" the officer yelled. The officer walked to him and began giving CPR.
"Robert, please get up!!" I yelled. "We got a pulse!" Officer yelled. Moments later the Ambulance pulled in and took him to the hospital. Tears fell from my face, as I walked over to my car. Sincere was placed in a police car.
I race to the hospital to see if Robert is okay. I called my dad to let him know what happened. He was furious but I had no time to argue with him. "Dad, I'll be at the hospital." I said and hung up. I can't believe this happened and it's all my fault. If I had never gone to the library, Robert wouldn't be fighting for his life right now. Sincere wouldn't be going to jail. My dad is going to rip me to pieces when he sees me. I need to get away from all this. I'm messing everything up.
I arrived at the hospital. Robert's family and friends are sitting and waiting for a response from the doctor. I sat far away from them knowing if I told them what happened they'd hate me. My dad and sister walked in. "Why did you bring her?" I said. "This is your sister, she is here for you." Dad said. "Oh, so you told her?.. You know what.. this is completely irrelevant I don't care anymore. I'm here for Robert." I cried. "Watch your tone speaking to me like that! "Hey, are you guys here for Robert? I heard his name." An elderly woman said. "No...Yes, mam" I said with guilt. "We haven't heard back from the doctor yet. But we're patiently waiting and praying on our little boy to pull through." She said. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry" I cried. "It's okay sweetheart. We just need all the prayers we could get." She said.
If only she knew it was my fault. I'm not the so-called sweetheart she thinks I am. I pray for Robert to pull through. When the doctor comes out, it could be good news or bad news.
"Are you okay sis? You can talk to me." My sister Erica said. "What do you think?" I said confused. "Why have you always got an attitude towards me? What did I do so wrong to you? We were so close." She cried. "You know exactly what you did! I don't have to explain shit! Now leave me alone, Erica!" I said. I can't believe she's acting like she doesn't know what she did. I didn't want to talk to her. Especially not now."Wait you're talking about when I had sex with your exe?! A long time ago! You are delusional! You can't be mad forever." She said. "What? I didn't know you did that! Your a backstabbing bitch and I hate you! You're disgusting!! Get away from me! Don't talk to me again!" I cried.
"Hey, are you, Jessica?!" At this point, I didn't give a fuck anymore. The bad news continued happening to me, so fuck it "Yeah, I'm Jessica," I said. "You the bitch got my brother shot!" She swung and punched me in my face & I fell to the floor."Hey, stop!!!!" Someone screamed. "This girl just punched me!" I screamed. I tried to get back up and fight but I was very unsteady. I fell back to the ground. "This bitch got my brother shot! She deserves to be dead!" she yelled. My sister heard what happened and ran over to her and began swinging and punching her. "Bitch, Bitch" Erica said while beating the fuck out of her.
"Break it up!" My dad said running over to break up the fight before the police got involved. "What are you girls doing?! This is a hospital!" Dad screamed. "She started it!!! She punched Jessica in her face out of nowhere." Erica said. "Erica and Jessica go sit over there and stay seated!!" Dad said.
"Thanks for having my back," I said. "Of course, you are my twin, no matter what we have going on! I do hope one day you will forgive me" she said. "Yeah, one day" I sighed.
"Robert Jenkins?!" the doctor said while walking in the lobby. "Yes," his parents said with a sigh. "Come with me" the doctor said. "Is our son okay?" His mom cried.
