"Y/n! Next order is ready!" I got out of my gaze and looked behind me to Daniëlle.

"Yeah sorry." I said and grabbed the tray from her with food. I made my way to the table with the small family. "Here you go." I said and placed the right food in front of the right people.

"Thank you miss." The father said and I smiled.

"You're welcome. Have a nice meal." I replied and got back to behind the counter. I watched the little families eat their meals and having small conversations.

I work at a restaurant with my best friend Daniëlle. We also work together with the Gunnarsen twins and their good friend Ryan. But Martinus seems to avoid me though. I don't really know why but he doesn't talk to me. It still didn't stop me from having a crush on him. I just can't help it.

He's too cute.

But to be honest, I think he hates me.

The new food was ready and I got to the counter to grab the tray. I saw Martinus holding it and I smiled a little at him.

"Thank you, Martinus." I said and he looked at me but then fast turned away from me before handing me the tray.

See? He hates me.

I sighed and brought the food to the cute little couple in the corner next to the window. Will I ever be in a relationship like that?

It was now break and I sat down on a chair by the counter. Daniëlle was standing behind it and grabbed a drink for both of us. We were busy talking and decided to get some ice cream out of the refrigerator. Don't worry, we got permission from our boss. We walked over to the kitchen door but stopped as my name fell.

"You need to talk to her sometime." I heard Marcus say to, I guess, Martinus.

"Why? Why would I do that?" He replied back. Autch. That hurts.

"Because you can't act around like nothing is wrong. You need to talk to her and be honest." With that sentence being said I walked into the kitchen.

"There's no need too. I know he hates me. I don't know why but he does. Nothing to talk about anymore." I said and they looked shocked at me. "Daniëlle will you grab the spoons? I'll grab the ice cream." I walked past the boys and grabbed it. Daniëlle and I made our way back to the counter in the restaurant and ignored the boys. We both took a spoon and started to eat the ice cream.

"You did good out there. Even though I hoped for you and Martinus to get closer." Daniëlle spoke up and I looked at her.

"Yeah I guess." I said and looked down.

"You like him don't you?"

"No." This was the worse lie I ever told. I looked up at her and let out a deep sigh. "Okey I do. But he hates me." I said shrugging and putted another full spoon in my mouth.

"He doesn't." I looked behind me and saw Ryan. I rolled my eyes and turned back around.

"And why would I believe you?"

"Because I'm one of his best friends and know him the best. Besides Marcus." I nodded and took a sip of my drink. "Believe me when I say that he's just shy. He doesn't really know how to talk to you. Girls in general to be precisely."

"So he doesn't hate me?" I asked and he shook his head.

"But you like him huh?" He asked and I got red. "Yeah I heard everything." He answered chuckling.

"Don't tell him anything." I said and he nodded. "Well I gotta go back to work." I said and they both nodded.

We were finished not long after and we finally could get to go home. I waited for Daniëlle and we got in her car, heading over to my home. We watched a movie and just relaxed. We were in the livingroom and prepared the couches to sleep on.
