Author's POV
You slowly woke up, feeling the sun on your skin. You looked next to you, seeing a sleeping Spinel wrapped around your arm. You smiled at how peaceful she looked. You were about to go back to sleep when you suddenly felt the sharp pain in your lower back. Oh shit. You knew exactly what that meant. You got up pushing Spinel's soft arms off of you, you ran to the bathroom not bothering closing the door. You pulled your pants and panties down reveling small blood stains on your panties. You huffed in annoyance.
Grabbing a pad you unwrapped it and placed it on your underwear not caring about the stains. You threw the wrapper out and sat there for a while before you heard footsteps come towards the bathroom. Spinel peaked her head in and saw you covering your face with your hands looking very, unhappy. She walked in immediately noticing the smell of what humans call 'blood'. She got worried and bent down, removing your hands and looking at you with soft and caring eyes. "Hey sugar, is it that time of the month?" She asks, you nodded feeling tears stream down your cheeks.
You wrapped your arms around her, pulling her closer. She hugged you back, rubbing circles on your lower back. "Let's pull those up and go lay down, how's that sound?" She asked pulling away, you nodded and stood up, pulling up your garments. She wrapped an arm around your shoulder and walked with you back to your shared bedroom. She tucked you in and smiled "I'll be right back, I'm gonna get you your heating pad alright doll?" You nodded your head. You hated getting your period, it was the worst! It's like your vagina has turned against you for some goddamn reason.
Spinel came back with your special heating pad, warmth makes your back pain and stomach cramps feel better. You thanked the lord to whomever invented these pads. She lifted your shirt up and placed it onto your back, it felt better already. She was about to walk out of the room, but you stopped her grabbing her arm. "Spinel please don't leave~" you whined. She smiled and sighed at your cuteness. Some people would say you whining is the last thing they'd want but Spinel loves it when you whine, you just sound too adorable!
She got into the bed with you, turning on the tv putting on your favorite tv show on. She played with your hair and you leaned your head on her small chest. She loved playing with your hair, she loved to style it in many ways. You looked up and gazed at her pink eyes, she looked down at you "yes.?" She asked "I just love looking at you, your eyes especially" you said. A blush forms on her face "aw gee, thanks doll" she replied, placing a hand on her cheek. You leaned in, capturing her soft pink lips with your own. She kissed back, tangling her gloved hand in your hair.
You pulled away and smiled warmly, "god what would I do without you".
