9 Years Later

(A/N: Sorry it's been a while, this story isn't over, just yet, a few more chapters and I'll be wrapping it up.. I actually didn't realise that I hadn't posted this chapter, I am on like chapter 38 now or something and thought that I had caught up with posting chapters, it takes me a little while to complete a chapter, full-time work and everything else in life outside of writing, but here is the next one, and it's not amazing, I kinda struggled with this one a little bit, but the next one when it's posted will hopefully be better.... let me know what you think anyway! Still on the plane, flying across Earth, Sophie and I have moved to the bedroom, not to make love, just to lay together, after the day we've had, we're in need of a little rest.

"You've spoiled me so much today" She says.

"Better get used to it, I'll be spoiling you for the rest of our lives" I tell her. She leans in and kisses my lips.

"I never thought I'd know what true happiness feels like, I mean of course the twins are my absolute world and they make me proud every minute of the day, but there was always that one thing missing, and that was my soulmate, I never should have left you that morning" She says.

"Sophie, it's ok, yes I was gutted, but you were scared and confused, to be honest so was I, I fell in love with you after just that one day, I never thought that was possible, but we found each other again, it took us 9 years, but it happened, and now look at where we are, I couldn't be happier" I say.

"I couldn't be happier either" She smiles. She closes the gap between us and kisses me again, I move her on top of me and her lips go down to my neck, I give her more space by turning my head to the window.

"Soph, wait" I say. She immediately stops.

"What? What's wrong?" She asks.

"Nothing is wrong, look out of the window" I instruct her, she furrows her eyebrows and looks, then her eyes go wide and her jaw drops a little.

"That is the Eiffel tower" She points out.

"Yes it is" I smile.

"Wait, I thought we were going to Spain?" She questions.

"I don't think Spain has an Eiffel tower" I answer.

"What? You mean, we're landing in Paris?" She questions. I nod happily. "What and then we're going to Spain?" She asks.

"Nope, we're not going to Spain at all, I lied to surprise you, first we are here, then we are going to Ireland" I say. A huge smile forms across her face.

"I'm so excited!" She squeals making me laugh. I roll us over so I'm laid on top of her.

"Lets get this honeymoon started then" I say as I kiss her. Then the intercom interrupts us to say we'll be landing very soon.

"I guess we have to wait until we get to our hotel room" She says.

"Yeah, don't be counting on any sleep tonight" I wink.

"Do you own the hotel we're staying at?" She asks.

"Yeah, I do, Spain, here, and a couple of others" I answer.

"Ireland?" She questions.

"No, but I know the person who does own it, or rather my Mother does, so they're setting up their best room for us, not at our request" I answer.

"So if it isn't you surprising me, it's your Mother" She says sarcastically.

"What can I say, she loves you nearly as much as I do" I smile. I kiss her again before rolling off her, we'll be landing soon and we need our seat-belts on. We go back to our seats and get ready for landing.
