Hate To Love

Our other classes was over. Katelynn, Calvin, and I headed to lunch. We got our lunch and sat down at a table. Calvin's two friends, Cory and Bob sat with us. I saw Alyssa, I waved at her.

I went up to her and said, "Come sit with us, Alyssa."

She had a lunch bag with her. I brought her over to the table. We sat down.

Katelynn said, "Ugh."

Alyssa asks Katelynn, "Is there something wrong or gross, Katelynn?"

Katelynn said, "Yes. Yes there is."

I said, "The...the food! Katelynn hates..." I picked up the celery from Katelynn's tray.

Bob asks Alyssa, "You gotta boyfriend?"

She replied, "No, I don't. I've had quite a few exes..."

"I can see that," says Katelynn.

I said, "Katelynn! Why'd you say that?!"

"She's pretty! The boys want her! Or, she wants them. Maybe she seduces them. I don't know. I''m just assuming." She said.

"Okay, Kate, you need to apologize to Alyssa. I don't know why you are being so rude to her."

"Alright. I'm sorry that you're a slut."

Oh my god. Kill me now.

I said to Alyssa, "I'm sorry, Alyssa. She's not usually like this."

"Yeah, if I didn't know somebody's plan, then I won't be saying this."

"Okay, I'm done," I said.

Calvin said, "Okay. That's enough, Katelynn."

Katelynn asks, "You're also blind, aren't you, Serena's future husband?"

"Sorry Alyssa," Calvin says.

Alyssa said, "Its okay, Calvin. Really, i'm new so its gonna take time to fit in."

Katelynn yelled, "See! She finally spoke! But she spoked after Calvin! And said his name! But not ours, Serena!"

Alyssa ran away from the table.

I went after her, Calvin said, "No, let me, Serene." He kissed me then left.

Bob and Cory said, "Wow."

Katelynn asks me, "You're gonna let him go after that slut?!"

I said, "Katelynn, what you said was unforgively rude."

"Hey, its true!"

"Why did you say those things to her?"

"Alright, she's... she's my step-sister."

"Step-sister? How come you've never told me?

"Its the same as your son, Luke. You didn't tell me. You kept that from me. So I thought, i'll do the same as you."

"Okay, I get it."

"Alyssa isn't who you think she is, Serena."

"Then who is she?"

She continued, "She's trying to catch, Calvin. Her old school, in NY, she got expelled for doing drugs, smoking pot, having sex with half of the boys at school. She moved to a different state because of her image."

"Wow, Kate."

"You don't believe me, don't you."

"No, no. I do believe you."

"You do?"

"Yeah, i've actually heard of that. I heard that a girl got expelled because of those things in NY."
