... being Robert's sister and coming to watch the band rehearse. This is the first time you meet the boys and one of them has a special liking forward you.

Robert, on the other hand, was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. "Oh! Oh! Y/N! Y/N! You have to see this!" he exclaimed, dragging her by the arm.

Y/N laughed, trying to keep up with her brother's enthusiasm. "Rob! Chill down! We have enough time. Don't you want to introduce me to your friends?"

Robert blinked, as if just remembering that detail. "Oh! Yes! Yes, of course! Hey guys! Guys!"

He waved us over, and we reluctantly put down our instruments. Robert was clearly nervous having his sister around, and he wanted to show her everything. He guided her over to where Jimmy, John, and I were standing.

"Guys! This is my sister. She'll watch us rehearse," Robert announced, his voice full of pride.

Jimmy raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "And does she have a name too?"

Robert rolled his eyes. "Oh! Right! Yeah! Guys, that's Y/N. Y/N, those are my friends. Jimmy, John, and Jonesy."

Y/N smiled, her eyes sparkling. "Hey!"

Jimmy nodded politely. "Hello."

I managed to stammer out a "Hi..." while John, ever the charmer, stepped forward with a grin. "Hello, pretty girl. What a pleasure to meet you."

Robert shot him a glare. "Stop flirting with my sister, Bonham!"

John held up his hands in mock surrender. "No offense! Just messing with you, Plant."

Robert sighed, clearly done with the conversation. "Whatever! We have to go now anywa..."

I quickly interrupted, not ready to let Y/N leave just yet. "Wait, Robert! I have a few questions about my bass lines..."

Y/N's eyes lit up at the mention of bass. "You play the bass?"

I nodded, suddenly feeling self-conscious. "Ammm... yes..."

Her face broke into a wide grin. "Me too! Since when do you play?"

"Since I was 14," I said, my nerves easing a little. "You?"

"For about 12 years, I think," she replied, her enthusiasm infectious. "Do you have a favorite bass?"

"Oh yes!" I said, my excitement matching hers. "I love the Höfner 500/1. I know it's kind of old-fashioned, but..."

We both spoke at the same time. "...the old ones are the best ones."

Y/N laughed, and I couldn't help but smile. "Yes! That's my favorite too. Do you have a special techni..."

Robert cut us off, clearly annoyed. "Wow, wow, wow! Slow down, bass-nerds. We have to carry on with our special tour. Come on, Y/N. I want to show you the new speakers."

Y/N nodded, giving me an apologetic smile. "Ok. Let's go. I hope we have someday more time to chat, Jonesy."

"Yeah... me too..." I said, my voice trailing off as I watched her walk away with Robert. "Maybe we could go to a-"

"Y/N! Hurry up!" Robert called, pulling her along.

"Coming! See you soon, guys!" Y/N said, waving over her shoulder.

I stood there, grinning like an idiot as I watched her leave. What a girl... And she has such a nice as... No! She's Robert's sister... and plays bass... a dream girl...

Jimmy and John, of course, noticed my distraction immediately. "JONES!" Jimmy called, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I blinked, turning to them. "What?"

John smirked, crossing his arms. "Ohhh! Look at him! He has no idea."

Jimmy nodded, his expression smug. "Absolutely no clue."

I frowned, feeling a little defensive. "Does anybody care to tell me what's going on?"

Jimmy grinned, leaning against his guitar. "Y/N and Jonesy sitting on a tree..."

John joined in, his voice teasing. "K. I. S. S. I. N. G."

I groaned, shaking my head. "The hell no!"

Jimmy raised an eyebrow. "The hell yes! I give you one week until you ask her out."

John chuckled. "Ahhh, I think one and a half. But it's clear, and you can't deny!"

Jimmy pointed at me, his grin widening. "Someone's falling!"

I rolled my eyes, trying to hide my embarrassment. "Shut up, idiots!"

But deep down, I knew they were right. There was something about Y/N that had me completely captivated. And what I didn't expect was that exactly eight days later, I'd muster up the courage to ask her out—and she'd say yes.
