Todoroki looked a bit hesitant to make another move.

You sent another fireball towards him, "Don't treat me like I'm frail damn it!"

The fireball hit him this time and pushed him toward the edge of the ring. He tried sending another glacier but nothing happened.

Present Mic was shocked "What's this?! Are Todoroki's Ice powers failing him due to the heat!?!!"

You kept throwing fireballs in his direction. Todoroki was beginning to be cornered and his ice powers were failing him. He was at an ultimatum. Use THAT side of his powers or lose.

He refused to do it. He refused to give in to his old man's wishes. He hated him. He hated his power. But most of all he hated himself. In the midst of his self-deprecation your words rung out in his mind, "I'm sure your mom wouldn't want to see you like this, so even if you don't do it for me, at least do it for her."

"at least do it for her."

You threw another large fireball near him which caused dirt particles to fill the air making it hard to see.

He gripped his hands tight, his left hand began to grow warm. He wanted to do it for his mother. The fire started slowly growing in his hand. He wanted to do it for himself. But for some obscure reason, he wanted to do it for you too. The girl who had caused him nothing but trouble since he joined UA, the girl who had nicknamed him death metal phase because of his two-tone hair, the girl who had made him a bento, the girl who had made him her rival, the girl who managed to insult his father without a hint of fear on her face, the girl he began to grow feelings for. Without thinking suddenly his entire left side was on fire. Todoroki walked out from the cloud of dirt to reveal him using the other half of his quirk.

Present Mic was practically choking on his saliva, "WHAT'S THIS!!?? TODOROKI IS USING HIS FIRE POWERS?! THIS IS SO COOL!!"

Todoroki looked to find you genuinely smiling at him.

"I knew you had it in you DMP."

He let out a soft smile.

You laughed and clenched your fist, "It's such a shame that I still have to crush you!" You rushed towards him and multiple clones of yourself surrounded him at once.

He started taking them out one by one with his fire until there were none left, but where had you gone? As he looked around for you a large gust of wind started to blow him towards the edge of the arena. With all his strength he tried going against the wind until he fell into a large hole in the ground. When he tried to get back up out of the hole it closed over him leaving him under the earth. He tried using his powers to get him out to no avail. Every time he made a slight hole it seemed like more dirt was just placed back on top. He then saw an opening on another end. He ran toward that opening and quickly hopped out prepared to fight.

"Todoroki is out of bounds! (L/n) advances to the next round!"

"Huh?"

He looked where he was standing and saw that the opening was just past the bounds. And there you were standing in all your glory- arms crossed and a smirk plastered across your face.
