We've been engaged for a whole year and it's been the most amazing year of my life. We're getting married first and then we'll see about expanding our little family. Wilhelmina and I have discussed having children and she said that it was something she never thought she wanted, until she met me. Our baby boy Arthur is growing and he's the most beautiful little dog there ever was. He has Wilhelmina wrapped around his little paws, she adores him even when he wakes her up by licking her face every morning.
Our wedding is tomorrow and I can't wait to finally be able to call Wilhelmina my wife. Of course no expense has been spared for the wedding. We both decided we wanted to get married on the beach where Wilhelmina proposed to me. Since Wilhelmina doesn't have any family I suggested a simple reception at our house which she agreed to but made sure to say it wouldn't be simple it would be the most beautiful and over the top reception there ever was because she wants to make our day as special as possible.
I asked Claire to be my maid of honour and she is over the moon about it and Wilhelmina asked her best friend Billie Dean Howard to be her maid of honour.
Claire took me out for my bachelorette party with some friends. We started the night off in a strip club and she booked me a lap dance with one of the female strippers. Wilhelmina wasn't too pleased about this but came around when I gave her a lap dance to make up for it. We then went on a pub crawl and by the end of the night I couldn't stand up straight. My love Wilhelmina came and picked me up and took care of me when I was being sick and helped me through the hangover from hell.
Billie took Wilhelmina out for her bachelorette and they spent the night having dinner at a fancy restaurant and drinks at a posh bar which she really enjoyed.
We spent our last night together before we become a married couple by having a meal at our favourite restaurant then having some drinks at a bar in town and it was perfect.
Tonight was the first night in over a year and half that we haven't slept in this same bed and we both hate it but you have to stick to tradition. I stayed at my parents house. Claire and my mom had us all matching pyjamas and decorated the living room with balloons and banners for me. We spent the night drinking, eating and talking about everything and anything.

Wedding day

I woke up feeling nervous but so excited to marry my soulmate. I can't wait to walk down the aisle and see Wilhelmina. I got my hair and make up done and all that was left to do was put my dress on. Claire helps me and then starts crying saying I was the most beautiful bride she had ever seen. "Stop crying because you'll make me cry" I say laughing and pull her in for a hug. Claire's bridesmaid dress is light purple to go with the theme of the wedding. I walk into the living room to show my mom and dad. "What do you think?" I ask. "You look absolutely beautiful baby girl" my dad says coming over to hug and kiss me. My mom is sobbing, "look at my baby all grown up and getting married, you look like a princess" she says hugging me tightly.

Your wedding dress

Mom and Claire head off before me and my dad. The car arrives shortly after to take us to the beach. "Are you ready baby?" He asks. "Ready as I'll ever be" I say picking up my flowers and taking his hand. The ride to the beach is quick and my dad has me crying telling me how beautiful I am and how proud of me he is. When we get to the beach the wedding organiser meets us and walks us along the beach to the area where Wilhelmina got down on one knee. It's beautiful. There's white chairs with purple bows, white and purple flowers along the aisle leading up to a white flower arch where Wilhelmina is standing facing the water beside Billie Dean. Songbird by Eva Cassidy starts playing and Claire walks down the aisle first with our little Arthur wearing a cute tuxedo. My dad puts his arm out and I grip it tightly. Walking down the aisle everyone tells me how beautiful I am and I'm smiling from ear to ear. When I get to Wilhelmina she turns around with the biggest smile on her face. "Hi baby, you look so beautiful. The most stunning bride I've ever seen. I love you." She says and pecks my lips. Wilhelmina's wearing a white skinny fit suit with a light purple shirt and purple heels. Billie Dean has on a purple suit that matches Claire's dress. "You look gorgeous baby! I love you so much. Let's get married" I say and take her hand. The wedding officiant welcomes everyone to the wedding and talks about how significant our vows are and the duties and roles in marriage. Next it's our vows, wilhemina goes first. "I Wilhelmina, take you (y/n) to be my lawfully wedded wife, my faithful partner, my best friend and my one true love. Before these witnesses I promise to love you with every bit of my being, to honour and care for you, to have and to hold in tears and laughter, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish you from this day forward, in this life and the next. I love you baby" she says squeezing my hands and then she wipes away the tear falling down my face. "I (y/n), take you Wilhelmina to be my lawfully wedded wife. Today I give myself to you. I promise to love you in good times and in bad. When life seems easy and when life seems hard. When our love is simple and when it is an effort. I promise to encourage you and inspire you, to laugh with you and to comfort you when you're sad. I promise to always cherish you and always hold you in highest regard. These things I give to you today and for the rest of our lives. I love you always and forever" I say. Next it's time for the rings. Wilhelmina places the ring on my finger, "I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, all that I am I give to you, all that I have I share with you, I promise to be faithful and loyal, to respect and cherish you, throughout our lives together" "Do you Wilhelmina Venable take (y/f/n y/l/n) to be your lawfully wedded wife?" "I do" she says and slips the ring on my finger. I take her hand and place the ring on her finger, "I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, I promise to love, respect, honour and cherish you in all times, all places and in every way for the rest of our lives" "do you (y/f/n y/l/n) take Wilhelmina Venable to be your lawfully wedded wife?" "I do" I say and slide the ring onto her finger. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you wife and wife, you may kiss your bride" the officiant says and our lips meet in a loving kiss. "We did it babe, you're my wife now" I say feeling beyond happy. "and you're my wife, it feels amazing to finally say that" Wilhelmina says and we take each other's hands and walk along the aisle while everyone throws confetti at us. We stay on the beach and get photos took with my parents and our maids of honour while the guests head back to our house. After the photos we drive back to the house in the car that was hired for me and my dad. It has a purple ribbon on it for my purple lady. When we get home we walk through the house and out to the back garden where everyone cheers and claps. The garden is done up beautifully, there's a flower wall for getting photos at, there's fairy lights all over the place and flowers, lots and lots of flowers. There's a light up dance floor that's twinkling in the middle of the garden and a DJ booth beside it. The caterers we hired have brought in some tables and chairs and decorated them so beautifully. In the centre of each table is a tall vase with white flowers and a few violets in each bouquet with little lights inside the vase. After our meal it was time for our first dance. We picked Ed Sheeran - "Perfect" as our song. In that moment it was only me and Wilhelmina, lost in our own little world, she twirled me around and we shared kisses and sweet I love yous. After that I danced with my dad to "I loved her first" which was so special and beautiful. My dad decided that since Wilhelmina couldn't have a dad/daughter dance he would surprise her and dance with her because every girl should have a dance with her dad at her wedding. Tears fall down her face when he goes over to her to ask her to dance. She takes his hand and they walk to the dance floor as "I hope you dance" starts playing. I sit beside my mom watching this beautiful moment as tears escape my eyes. Wilhelmina has the biggest smile on her face as my dad twirls her around the dance floor. When the song ends she stands there hugging him tightly while crying, god I love this woman more than anyone on this planet. I give her a kiss when she comes back over to sit with us. "I love you baby" I say while hugging her. "I love you more princess, this is the best day of my life" she says "me too honey" I say and we share a long sweet kiss. The party goes on til the early hours of the morning and when people start leaving we make sure to thank them for coming and say goodbye to everyone. Once everyone has left we both go to our room and Wilhelmina helps me out of my dress. "You're the most beautiful bride there ever was baby" "you're the most beautiful bride there ever was too" "not as beautiful as you my princess" "you-" she stops me talking by kissing me. "You know it's not fair when you do that but I'm not even mad, kiss me anytime you want me to stop talking" I say smiling at her. We spend the rest of the night making love before falling asleep in each other's arms. The perfect way to end the perfect day.
