Itachi Uchiha AMV- Shadow

"This is Satchi," Sasuke informed the woman and the man standing in the middle of the opening. "She lost her parents and her grandparents. I understand that you're looking into adopting," 

"We are," the woman answered her eyes never leaving my own. She came closer to me. I flinched away grabbing Mr. Sasuke's robe. He smiled at me encouraging me to approach her. 

"You're a beautiful little thing," she complimented kneeling down in front of me. 

Her hair is dark just like my daddy's had been. Her eyes are a light shade of brown. Not like mine but close enough to make people think that I actually belonged to her. The man is tall. He has a warm welcoming smile on his face. He's very handsome.

"You want to be my mommy?" I asked her. "Why don't you just get a baby?" 

"I can't," she shrugged lifting her shirt.

There's a big scar across her belly. It looks scary. I don't know why she would show me the scary scar but my guess is that it has something to do with her and babies. Maybe she was attacked by a little one and wants an older child so they won't hurt her again. 

"Mr. Sasuke?" I looked up at him. He looks like my daddy. Smaller but almost the same. He came over kneeling down in front of me. The woman and the man moved away from us. 

"Satchi, this is the safe place I told you about. Remember when I told you I promised him I'd help keep you safe?" he whispered. "They will keep you safe," 

"I can't stay with you?" I asked caressing his face. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer.

"No, Satchi. I move around a lot. I'm a ninja and I can't always be around to protect you. I promise that this isn't the last time you will see me. For now, I want you to go with them. I know you're going to miss me and Itachi but I want to ask you not to tell the others about us. Can you do that?" 

"Is it important?" he nodded. 

"It is very important. As far as anyone is concerned, they're your only family," 

"Are you my family?" he nodded pushing my hair out of my face. 

"I'm your uncle," I smiled. The look in his eyes is almost the same look my daddy Itachi would have when he looked at me too. "As long as I am alive. You will always have a family. You are never alone," 

"You promise?" he nodded standing up. He tapped my forehead the same way daddy did. 

"How much do you want?" the woman asked. Sasuke shook his head. 

"This is not a sale, Mrs. Ichigo. All I want is for her to happy. I can't give her that. My brother thought you could give her a better life. If at any moment I feel she is being mistreated I will come back for her," 

"I swear," the woman looked down at me and smiled. "Nothing will ever make her suffer again," 

Tears filled my eyes as my parent's casket was lowered into the ground. The pain in my chest is loud that I can hear it pulsing in my ears. I can taste the bitterness of it in my mouth. 

Shizuka Ichigo had been the best mother in the world. The moment she knelt down in front of me when Sasuke took me to her, she had become everything a little girl would ever want. She made me forget that I had been abandoned. Even when she was scolding me, she looked at me with nothing but adoration. I didn't make it a habit to ask but there was nothing I would want that she wouldn't spoil me with.
