Clueless || Cha Eunwoo

I yawned as I walked inside the building, trying hard to keep my eyes open.

The bright lights hit me as soon as I entered the big hallway, making me squint my eyes and block the lightning by putting my hand in front of them.

I had slept for 3 hours.

Maximum.

My first class was going to be Biology and I had left my textbook inside my locker as usual. That textbook was so heavy that putting it inside my backpack and bring it home every day would kill my back so I'd only bring it with me before tests.

I took my key from the purse I'd always have in my jacket's pocket and finally opened the locker, some random pages immediately falling to the ground.

"Geez, Seoyeon. Can't you just organize stuff?" I rolled my eyes while I mumbled to myself, ducking down and picking up my papers.

"Have you heard the news?"

I raised my head and saw two girls standing on the lockers, also taking their things out of their lockers.

"About what?"  The other asked.

"About the new romance, obviously. Everyone has been talking about that"

"There's a new couple?!"

"Yes! And I've been telling you they would end up together for ages now"

"Wait, are you talking about who I think you are?"  She giggled and the other one held her hands, giggling as well.

"Today they entered school while holding hands"

"Eish, I'm jealous. I really thought I could make him notice me"

"Me too, but at least they look good together"

The bell rang and I saw them running away, leaving me there with furrowed brows and curious thoughts. A new couple?

At our school?

I shrugged and got up, a few pages slipping out of my hold and falling again to the floor.

"Let me help you with that" I heard a deep voice saying behind me. I turned around and saw a smiley Dongmin looking at me before ducking down and picking up the pages for me.

"Thank you so much" I bowed at him and he chuckled.

"Since when do you thank me by bowing?" He asked and I shrugged, not even knowing why I had to do it.

"I don't know, it just came up naturally" I smiled and he put the rest of the pages on top of the textbook I was holding. He peeked at the textbook and smiled.

"Are you going to have Biology?" I nodded and looked behind him, seeing he had no backpack.

"What about you? And where is your backpack?"

"I'm going to have English Literature" He answered and then pointed at someplace beside me "I was holding my backpack but then I saw you had let fall some pages so I asked Dahyun if she could hold it for me"

I turned back and looked at the place he pointed at, seeing Dahyun waving at me as soon as our eyes met.

"I thought you two didn't have classes together?" I asked confused and he laughed on my face, mocking me.

"And we don't, we took the bus together"

"Since when do you take a bus together? You guys live in different zones"

He put his hand on my forehead "Seoyeon, are you sick? Why are you asking me all of these questions?"

"I'm not sick, I'm just confused" I frowned, starting to get mad at all of this non-sense.
