Today is the day that I officially move to Charlotte , North Carolina with my family. My dad got a job promotion that he has been working so hard for. I tried to tell him I didn't want to move but I couldn't let him down so I'm stuck with moving. I was definitely not too happy when I go to the news that we were moving here.
I mean.. who would be happy if they were forced to start over and move to a whole new state without a choice?
I haven't arrived yet and I already want to go back to New York.
So many thoughts have been running through my mind causing me to be a nervous wreck. On top of that, school is only a few days away. Well on the bright side i'm almost done with the school year.
I seriously need to stop worrying.
As we were coming to a stop I lifted my head from the window and looked around my new neighborhood.
"We're here baby." My mom smiles turning around to face me.
We pull into a drive way of a nice sized house.

It's dark outside but I could clearly see how nice the house was.
I couldn't believe that we were moving here. Our last place was an apartment that was on the bad side of town. Our apartment was quite small and a little run down, but I was used to it, so it really didn't bother me.
Maybe this place won't be so bad after all .
I excitedly hoped out of the car eager to get out.
"Slow your roll babygirl." My dad laughs as he notices how happy I am. " It's late, so you're going over your uncles house to spend a night then we'll come get you in the morning so we can unpack."
"Oh okay." I say disappointed that I used all that energy to get out of the car. " Well why did we come here?"
" We were just showing you our new neighborhood."
" It looks very nice dad. I'm glad you picked this one." I say getting back in the car.
"Im glad you like it babygirl." My dad says turning the key in the ignition.
We pulled out of the driveway and 15 minutes minutes later we pulled up to a two story brick house. There were three steps that led up to a porch. The porch had two chairs and two vases filled with flowers on both sides of the door. There were two cars in the driveway and the grass was a beautiful shade of green with a smooth neat cut. A clean white gate surrounded the pretty house.
" Go in and tell everyone I said hi. I know you've missed your them." My mom says turning around to face me.
