The lights stealing through the nook cast a beautiful shadow of you both, silhouettes hidden away in a crowd, but at home with each other. Blues, purples, and pinks highlighted your best features, tempting Law to just devour you right then and there.

His wolfish growls were reminiscent of a cat's purr, reverberating in the back of his throat but soft nonetheless. His strong lips found yours once again, his hand delicately holding your chin up to him.

Giving you a chance to breathe, he let up, panting subtly. You could only smile up at him, leaning against the wall with a proud glint in your eyes. You'd tamed the wolf, but you were similarly spelled by him as well. The mutual satisfaction was something to get drunk on.

And speaking of...

"Let's get you a drink," he breathed out, gently tugging you to follow.

"Yes, please!"

Following him up the steps, you couldn't contain the giddy smiles stamped on your face after the make out. You were still swooning over his words and replaying them in your mind. Never had you been so genuinely adored by someone in a romantic setting. And definitely not with the level of respect he had for you, too.

Law had a reluctant tug when you reached the second floor. You followed his gaze which led to Kid and Amanda smothering each other on one of the VIP couches. The area was reserved for the four of you, but there was nothing that could compel either of you to join them.

Instead, Law pursued the final flight of stairs that led to the rooftop room. There was a patio right outside of it, but it was far too cold to venture further. A few people lingered about, escaping the crowds for a bit and expending what energy they had left to down a few drinks.

Law led you to one of the couches, and you promptly sat down, relieving your feet of the heels they were trapped in.

Leaning down, Law gave you a brief peck to your lips. "I'll grab us drinks."

Nodding, you honored his faith in you staying put by leaning back into the cushions of the couch. It reminded you of yours back home, and a brief desire to be there with Law waved over you.

Other desires for Law sweeping through your mind we're interrupted by a wave of thumps coming from the patio.

...

Stay put. You told yourself. Don't get curious.

What could it be? Pigeons? Doflamingo?? Not now. Any time but now - well, never. But just not now!

More thumps.

Don't do it.

Don't.

>>CRASH<<

... Damn it.

A final clattering of tables and chairs outside brought you to your feet, traipsing over to a window to sneak a look at whatever was out there. Probably just pigeons.

When you looked out, you saw a familiar mosshead tangled up in chairs, dazed.

Oh, phew. It's only Zoro.

You brushed off your worries and headed back to your seat. You nearly plopped back in your seat when the pang of realization struck you.

Wait...?!

"Zoro?!"

Everyone else in the room seemed too drunk to really care, and they were likely used to fellow randoms causing commotion anyway.

"Sup (f/n)!" Zoro exclaimed when you helped him free from the chairs' hold.

"What...How... .....Why??" You were so confused. It seemed the only way to get to the patio was from the inside of the club. But only Zoro could find himself on the roof without even trying.
