Today was the day you were leaving to go to California.  You couldn't wait.  You were currently dragging your friend through the airport, almost slipping on the wet floor.  Guess you missed the sign that was supposed to warn you.

That and your friend constantly warning you about obstacles.  But you were just too excited to listen to her or anything.

Soon you were boarding the plane and you just so happened to get a seat in the front.  First one off!  Your friend on the other hand was growing anxious about how happy you were.  Maybe she shouldn't have gave them to you so soon?

You were practically jumping in your seat.

"(Y/n), please calm down, I'm scared you might explode."  Your friend seemed quite serious, so you tried calming yourself.

"Sorry, I just can't wait to get there!  I mean what if they are already there and we might see them in public?"  This had crossed your mind millions of times.

"Come on, (Y/n)!  You've been reading too many fanfictions."  They let out a small laugh, barely audible.

"So?  It's still possible!"  You argued, not wanting your friend to destroy your dreams.

"Yeah, it is."  They paused. "But it's highly unlikely."

You sighed, knowing she was always right.  Or... Mostly.  There was this one time when she got a B on one of their tests.  But that's besides the point.  You trusted them a lot.  More than your own siblings or parents.

But I guess your family wasn't all that kind to you.

The point is, your friend was the most reliable person ever and you trusted them no matter what.  Even if it hurt you to believe the truth of things.

After the plane ride you rushed off the plane and grabbed your things, again, dragging your friend behind you.  You both rented a hotel room for a couple weeks and started unpacking.  There was a convention going on in a couple days.  You just found out so you and your bestie decided to go shopping for some costumes.

You ended up having to make it out of scratch, but who cares.

Once you were finished with a piece of your costume, you looked up the information about the convention again.  You had decided to be [Insert Character].

Wait.  Gerard will be signing autographs.  Now you had to make your costume perfect...
