"I remember a lot about that night don't you?" He mumbled softly as our gazes met I looked down at my feet reliving that night in my head fighting back a blush.
I bit my lip. "Err yeah I remember it all." I said my gaze not leaving Adrian's. He stared back, his gaze was just as intense as it always was. I looked away as Cameron shifted. Cam turned to me and asked.
"What happened?" His voice was tight, gruff even. Jealousy was written all over his face, his demeanour was guarding as if he was ready to fight. Deciding I had to defuse his anger before he did something stupid. I removed all joy off my face with a struggle. As happy as I was about his return that didn't stop the hurt he caused by leaving.
"He left," I said bitterly. He looked hurt for a moment before he scoffed.
"What was I supposed to do Scar? Stay here whilst my parents move halfway across the world?" I sighed.
"Y-No of course not?" I mumbled it sounded more like a question than an answer. "Can we talk about this later? I have class." he nodded.
"Yeah sure, until then Bug," He said his voice thick with his new accent. Which was totally hot. STOP thinking like this Scarlett! I turned and walked over to Cameron and placed an innocent kiss on his cheek. He was staring, well glaring at Adrian's retreating figure.
"Jealousy doesn't suit you, darling.'" I said causing Cameron to scoff.
"As if I'd be jealous of him!" He said rudely. Clara spoke up for the first time since Adrian introduced himself.
"I would be that guy is all kinds of fine..." She drooled I rolled my eyes I said goodbye and went to find my class.
I slumped into my seat at the back and put my earphones in I turned on my music softly already bored; I didn't have any friends in this class, so I just sat on my own. The door opened and the rest of the students piled into the class with them was Adrian; he was talking to Chris the Captain of the Soccer team.
"Yeah, I'll give it a go, see you at try-outs." Adrian said Chris nodded.
"Yeah man be there you'd be good for the team!" Chris smiled, they 'bro-hugged' and went to find seats.
Of course, Adrian set his sights on the seat next to me our gazes met, and he smirked sending me a wink. He sat down next to me and sighed dramatically.
"Ahh I finally have you alone," he pretended to wipe a tear from his eye causing me to roll mine "you know you're a lot feistier now, I like it, it's hot." I snapped my head up glaring at him.
"Don't say things like that!" he smirked leaning into my ear, his lips gently brushing my lobe causing my heart to beat faster. Him returning only stirred up unwanted feelings.
"Why? Are you afraid you won't be able to resist my charms?" I pushed him away and scoffed.
"Not at all." I said confidently.
"Admit it, sweetheart, you missed all this loveliness." He teased. I smiled at him before I replied.
"I guess I missed y-"
I was interrupted by Ashlee. She sat on my table. I glared at her perfect hair as she totally disregarded my personal space. "So, I heard you're new here. I'm Ashlee." She purred tracing her hand up his arm squeezing his bicep. His usual happy expression was replaced with a bored, uninterested one. Odd?
"And I'm not interested." He said as he removed her hand off his arm. Causing our peers to giggle quietly. My eyes widened at this. He's not interested? Why not? She's literally gorgeous even if she does have the personality of a dead fish.
