Scarlett's POV

I sighed, walking into the kitchen.

"Hey, I'm back" I smiled as she hugged me.

"Good, now get upstairs and start getting ready!" She rushed out, yet still making it sound like a threat... do all mothers do that?... No just mine? Okay.

I ran up the stairs taking two at a time I popped my head into Elijah's room.

"Hey," I said,

"Hey dork, I'm assuming by the way you ran up the stairs you heard the news?" He smiled. I nodded excitedly.

"Yes!" I said excitedly causing him to smirk.

"Someone's excited." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Obviously." I said, and he smiled tossing a pillow at me.

"Go get ready shitface." He teased; I threw it back at him before heading to my room.

Stepping out the shower I sat on the floor with my hairdryer and started to dry my hair. Finishing that I decided on what to wear. I went with a black dress with a lace-up front. It had mesh design on the sleeves giving me an elegant look. The dress finished mid-thigh, and it hugged me in all the right places giving me a good hourglass figure. It was beautiful. I sent a silent thank you to Clara for buying it me last Christmas. I slipped on my black heels as well as some jewellery. I had chosen the locket Cameron had gotten me for our year anniversary and the bracelet Adrian got me when I was twelve. I never go anywhere without it. It was a silver heart with little crystals covering the inside. Both were equally beautiful, and both meant a lot to me. I slipped on my black heels that pushed me up to 5'4. I curled the ends of my hair as it was already naturally wavy. I did my makeup which was a full face being as it's a special occasion. I finished the look with a bold red lip which made my dark eyes pop.

Grabbing my clutch bag, I made my way downstairs where everyone was waiting. Including Cam?

"What are you doing here?" I said coldly glaring at him. He sighed heavily.

"I came to apologise, babe, I overreacted please forgive me. I was stupid!" I scoffed.

"Damn right you were, but I suppose I forgive you." I said flashing him a grin. He smiled and pulled me into him kissing me.

"Erm stop." Elijah said as he glared at Cameron. He used to like him until about six months ago he just stopped, he never told me why.

Cam rolled his eyes at Elijah. Causing him to grit his teeth. I walked over to my dear, yet temperamental brother and hugged him. "You look good for once brother." I teased playfully hitting his arm. He flexed his bicep.

"What do you mean. I always look good the ladies love me." He winked, and I gaged mockingly.

"Lijah?" My mom warned, and his smirk dropped.

"Hey Madre, you look absolutely stunning. New hair cut?" she rolled her eyes at him and turned to Cam.

"Hey darlin' are you joining us for dinner?" She asked with a large grin on her face, he smiled at her.

"Err I'd love to, but I already ate, thank you for the offer," he said politely. I smiled at him. He was just so cute "well I best be off, see you tomorrow Scarlett." he said softly kissing my cheek. I watched him out and then once he had driven off, I turned to walk back into the living room
