Irreplaceable

Chapter Four

"When are we leaving?" Elijah asked and I turned to mom to hear the answer.

"Now. Eric get a move on." She yelled and within seconds he burst through the door trying to tie his tie. I sniggered at the sight.

"I'm sorry sweetie. I just can't get this right!" he exclaimed my mom chuckled and walked over to him and helped him. He kissed her cheek.

"Thank you mi Amor." (my love). Aw how cute.

Eric isn't my real father but he's the closest thing I have to one. My real fathers in prison for attempted murder. A lovely guy I know. My brother who was 14 at the time caught him beating up our mom. He attacked him and he was arrested. I wasn't the same after seeing that. Would you be? I hope not. He's been locked up ever since. Though he is nearing his third parole hearing and to say I was scared would be an understatement, but I can't let it get to me.

"COME ON SCARRRR!!" Elijah yelled from the car. I rolled my eyes and walked outside where Elijah was waving his arms frantically.

"Jesus calm down I'm coming." I rushed out as I slipped into the car only for him to flick me in the eye. He burst out laughing.

"Sorry, that was meant to be your head..." I slapped his hand away.

"Dickhead." I mumbled lowly so my mum couldn't hear. He laughed at me.

We pulled up to the restaurant it looked expensive, very expensive.

"Can we afford this" I joked an Elijah snorted.

"Comportarse Mija," (behave). I flashed her a grin before exiting the car waiting outside were Adrian and his parents both the boys were in suits like father like son. I grinned walking over to them.

"Hi." I squealed excitedly. Emma pulled me into a hug.

"Oh, Scarlett we've missed you!" I grinned.

"I've missed you all too. We all have!" I pulled back and Kyle hugged me kissing me on the head.

"Don't you look lovely. Doesn't she look lovely Adrian?"  

I glanced at Adrian and he was staring at me, a soft smile on his lips. "Of course." He said softly causing a light blush spread across my cheeks.

"Thank you." I smiled. We chattered for a little while before we headed inside.

"Reservation for Jones?" Kyle said causing the waiter to grab a few menus and lead us to our table. This place was gorgeous. The tables were organised to perfection, the ceiling lights were basically small chandeliers and there were fairy lights around the darker booths. There was a large aquarium in the centre of the restaurant stretching all the way to the ceiling which was three stories up. It has a variety of beautiful fish not to mention exotic corals that livened the place up. The elevators had glass doors with the logo printed on it. Our table was a balcony one, fairly lights were strung up around each bar of the fence and our table had a red velvet tablecloth stretching over it. Our waiter placed the menu down.

"Would you like me to fetch your drinks while you decide on what to order?" We all nodded.

"Yes, and could you bring us three bottles of your best red wine please." Kyle said politely the waiter nodded.

"Of course, Sir." He said before he turned to do just that.

The waiter came back with the wine and we all ordered. I had the lasagne and for dessert, I had chocolate mint cheesecake. Overall the dinner was exquisite. Adrian who was sitting to my left groaned out.

"This is so good," I laughed as he shovelled some more of his chocolate toffee pudding into his mouth he had chocolate on his chin he didn't realise and of course I didn't tell him I sat there smiling to myself.

"What?" he questioned I glanced at him and I couldn't control my laughter.

"N-nothing." I gasped out he rolled his eyes.

"Did Cameron apologise?" he asked out of the blue I went to reply. "Or do I need to kick his ass. I told you I'd do it," He smirked. Emma heard this and she was less than impressed.

"You mister are absolutely not getting into anymore, fights. I do not need any more of your opponent's ending up in my ER!" my eyes widened.

"You put a guy in the ER?" I asked his mom scoffed.

"He put three guys in the ER. He decided to go all MMA fighter on them." I gasped.

"Mum! That is not what happened. You know this!" He exclaimed her eyes softened he turned to me "I guess I should explain..." he said, and everyone nodded.
