Irreplaceable

Chapter Twelve

 "Never have I ever dyed my hair." He asked and Parker put his finger down.

"Nobody else? Really!" He exclaimed and we all chuckled.

Parker groaned "I'm bored of this game now let's watch a movie." He suggested and I threw him the remote.

"Netflix should already be loaded up," I said as I crawled under the covers. Adrian was next to the wall I squeezed in next to him and Roxy slid in next to me I smiled this is the happiest I've been all week. "Thank you, guys." I said to them.

"For?" Parker asked glancing at me.

"For being here and cheering me up after the week I've had." I smiled Roxy laced our hands together and gave it a comforting squeeze I smiled kindly at her.

"You know you never told us how you ended up in the hospital." She said in a lowered voice I sighed deeply, Adrian gave my arm a comforting squeeze I cast him a grateful smile before I turned back to Roxy.

"Get ready it's a long story..." I said before I dived into the story. 

"What an arsehole!" Parker growled, "Want me to kick his ass?" He asked and I laughed.

 "Adrian beat you to it." I said with a hint of annoyance in my tone. Parker glanced at Adrian.

"So you're the one who bruised up his face." Adrian smirked clearly proud,

"I'm also the one who gave him a concussion." Roxy laughed. 

Halfway through the movie, I wasn't watching Elijah popped his head in.

"Hey, dork mother wants to know if your friends are staying the night?" I looked to them they all shrugged I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah sure." I smiled Elijah lingered around the door for a while before I got annoyed.

"Just get in here." I said annoyed he grinned at me and plopped himself right between me and Roxy she scooted over to give him some room. He put his arms around both of our shoulders pulling us into him.

"Ah can you feel the love?" He cheered.

"If the love smells like B.O. and sweat then sure." Roxy shot back causing me to snigger. Elijah turned to her and smirked she shot him a wink and directed her gaze to the T.V. Adrian placed his hand on my thigh causing me to jump. He didn't look at me he was smirking at the TV. My eyes were wide as I tried to focus on the movie and not on Adrian's hand that was drawing circles on my leg. Which was slowly etching upwards. I bit my lip nervously. He chuckled. That little shit! He's doing this on purpose well two can play at that game. I leaned forward and slowly stripped off my jumper top exposing the white vest that was underneath which clung to me tightly. He watched my movements intensely.

"Damnnn girl you are hot!" Roxy winked at me I laughed and handed it to Elijah who threw it in the basket being as it would really hurt for me to move so fast and push it with force to make it to the basket. Stupid ribs! Stupid car! Stupid me! I leant back into his chest and tugged down my vest slightly causing him to clench his fist. I smirked. He leant down to my ear and whispered: "I hate you." I laughed loudly causing everyone to look at me funny. 

The movie ended and Elijah left. Parker made his bed using the spare mattress that was under my bed. He and Roxy were sleeping there since Adrian was already asleep. I turned to look at Roxy "he's asleep on my side of the bed." I grumbled causing her to chuckle at me I turned to look at his sleeping figure. His fast was soft and relaxed the small stubble coating his chin caused me to smile I remember when he first started growing a beard. He promised me he'd let it grow out and he'd never ever shave. I told him I'd cut it off in his sleep if he even attempted it. Tracing my finger across his cheekbone he stirred and I immediately stopped. I pulled the covers up to my chest and turned my back to him closing my eyes I let sleep overtake me.

I was asleep for a while before I randomly woke up with a pain in my chest. Opening my eyes Adrian's arm was hooked painfully tight around my waist his large shoulder was pressed up against my rib "Adrian." I whispered quietly trying not to wake anyone else up. I elbowed his stomach causing him to grunt. Slowly his eyes fluttered open.

"Scar?" He questioned his eyes groggy with sleep.

"Let go." I whispered my eyes tearing up. He ripped his arm from around me.

"I'm so sorry I didn't even realise. Are you okay?" I nodded lying back down facing him.

"I'm sorry!" He exclaimed again I shook my head cuddling into his chest.

"I'm scared," I said he looked down at me confusion swimming in his warm green eyes.

"Why?" He questioned.

I sighed "Of going back to school and seeing them together it's going to hurt so bad." I felt him tense.

"If I could take the pain away. I would in a heartbeat I mean it." He proclaimed sadly. I nodded. Looking into his deep green eyes.

"Does it ever stop hurting?" I asked hopefully he stared at me for a little.

"No, I don't think it does. You just make room for it." He stated and I smiled.

"You've always said you were never the mushy type but right now I'm calling bull." He chuckled. "Scar?" He questioned I nodded "earlier when I kissed you. Do you regret kissing me back?" He asked his insecurity seeping into his voice. I looked straight into his eyes and leaned forward until my lips just bearly brushed over his I could feel his ragged breaths fanning across my lips.

"No." I breathed and closed the gap between us our lips moved in perfect sync and I smiled into the kiss. He pulled me to him and I responded by swinging my leg over his waist straddling him his hands gripped my hips and he groaned as I tugged on his hair lightly. His tongue traced my bottom lip and I parted my lips slightly giving him access. His tongue massaged mine as we fought for dominance. We pulled back for air and he began trailing kisses down my neck sucking and nipping at the skin I moaned quietly at the feeling causing him to smirk against my neck. He trailed kissed down my shoulder to my hand bringing it up to his lips kissing it lightly I stared down at him smiling.

"Does that answer your question?" He bit his lip nodding. I got off him and lay down next to him.

"Goodnight." I whispered.

"Goodnight." He responded kissing my cheek.
