Steven's POV

  After a long day in little homeworld, it's time for me to be getting home. As I'm walking to little homeworld's warp pad, I remember the 'date' we are going to have. I get nervous thinking about it... I try to shove it at the back of my head, hoping Spinel forgets about it.

  When I arrive home, I hear some giggling and slight whispers. I walk further into my home and I see the gems walking back to their rooms, swiftly. What were they doing in my room... I go upstairs to check and I see spinel. I notice she's putting on a necklace and turns around, I could feel the redness grow on my face. She's wearing a white shirt with puffy pink short sleeves, a pink skirt with long white socks, and matching pink heals and gloves. The little heart necklace just put the outfit together so well. I step back, a little surprised, "S-Spinel... You look cute..." She smiles at me and my heart just melts. I don't even know what to say.

Spinel's POV

The room is quiet... I start to worry if my clothes aren't good enough. I look down and start fiddling with my hands. I hear Steven walk towards me and I look up, "Actually... You look beautiful." I blush at that, I lean towards him to give him a hug, "Thank you, Steven," I let go and say, "Well... I'm ready. Let's go!" I smirk at Steven nervously but I try to hide it. He holds out his hand. I take it.

  As me and Steven walk, he talks about what he did in little homeworld, I try listening but I'm focused on not falling with these shoes. Steven notices my struggle, "Hey, are you okay Spinel?" I lift my head and try giving him a reassuring smile but I fall backwards, "Ow!" I yelp. Oh no... How embarrassing! I wish I could just become invisible... I look up at Steven and he grabs my hand. I slowly stand up and look my to side, "These shoes are hard to walk in... I'm sorry." I bite my lip and Steven chuckles, "You don't have to be sorry, here." Suddenly, Steven takes my hand and we sit on a dock that's over the ocean, "Take off your shoes and socks, okay?" Steven asks me, I quickly do it and Steven does the same with his sandals. He pulls up his pants and sticks his feet into the water, I do the same. I jump at the cold touch but I remain there with Steven. I feel his arm warp around my back and he leans his head on my arm. My cheeks turn a pink tint and my heart is almost beating out of my chest. I try distracting myself by moving my feet back and fourth in the water. Steven let's go of me, "Hey... How about we do something, fun?" He says, standing up. I feel so excited and reply, "Really! Oh, where to!" I turn to him as I stand up and start putting my socks and shoes on. I catch a small smirk on Steven's face, "It's a secret... But trust me, you'll love it." Aww, I hate secrets! I pout at Steven and he laughs at my frustrated gesture, "Do you know what a piggy back ride is?" Steven asks me, I shake my head no and he starts demonstrating what to do. Soon, I'm on Steven's back with my legs and arms wrapped around his body, Steven holding my legs, "D-Don't drop me!" I say as Steven walks into the Beach city's plaza.

  We arrive to a sign saying 'FunLand', my eyes widen at the colorful lights that shine in the night, "Woah- What is this place?!" I say excitedly while getting off Steven's back carefully, making sure I don't fall. Steven turns to me, "It's basically a carnival- oh, wait, you don't know what that is... well, I have to show you it to explain.." Steven sticks out his arm and I warp my hands around it, and we walk into FunLand, the bright lights reflecting onto my eyes.

I just wanted to leave it here and make at least three parts for their date, cause it's pretty important and the story is gonna end soon so I wanna stretch it out as much as I can! <3
