After about 20 minutes of us arguing about if I'm going to pay or he is
He finally gave in and let me pay
He wasn't happy about it but I was
The "only" reason he let me pay is because he wanted me to be happy
I smiled at him as I handed the lady the money
We walked around for quite a bit when I noticed a man following us...
Right away I knew who it was
It was my father...
I whispered to Joe and he looked behind himself
My dad just smirked and kept following us
I was getting really scared so I texted my mum and told her everything
She said she would come as fast as she could
She also said to tell someone else
But I was to scared too
Joe told me to keep walking
I noticed he went walking back
I heard a scream and I looked behind me to see
Joe kneeling with a knife in his stomach
My "dad" was just standing there smirking
I felt tears spilling down my cheeks as I ran to him
He was laying on the ground with his head in my lap
I was holding his hand telling him everything is gonna be alright
Someone took the knife out of Joe's stomach which caused it to bleed quite a bit
With my spare hand I was putting pressure on the wound so he wouldn't loose that much blood
After about 10 minutes my mum finally came
When she seen Joe lying there right away she called an ambulance
She kneeled beside me and Joe
She told Joe and I to stay calm and that everything will be alright
I was scared to death at this point
"Who did this?" My mum asked
"Dad..." I replied
"What the fuck" she looked at me with disbelief
"I promise you it was mum, I seen his face" I replied while breathing heavily
Joe was rubbing my hand to calm me down and it really was working
I looked down at Joe and kissed him
We shared one last glance before the paramedics came and took him away in a stretcher.
I sat there
Starring at the floor
I couldn't believe it
My own father did this
Tears started slipping down my cheeks again
My mum wiped them away
She looked at me and smiled
"Your a strong kid you know that right?" She said
"I guess" I smiled
Then she pulled me into a hug
