You

Dinner was just as incredible as I imagined. After a few quick lessons on the sword with Aiden, the conch horn blew and we all came over to dinner.

The pavilion was set up with multiple tables arranged in neat orders. If I could recall, weren't they all supposed to be arranged by cabin?

Aiden saw my hesitation and turned around with a faint smile. "Don't worry, you can join me if you want. We don't actually have to sit with cabin mates ever since it became an issue over campers having to sit alone."

"Oh," I nodded and looked over at the mess hall. Leo was already here and frantically waving at me. He was sitting at a table with Liam and a few other boys I didn't recognize.

Aiden headed in that direction and took a seat next to Liam. I followed him and sat down in the empty spot next to Leo. He grinned at me.

"Isn't this place just amazing?!" He practically yelled in my ear as his fingers tapped lightly against the edge of the table.

I smiled at his enthusiasm. It was a pretty cool place, and also a place I never thought I would see in person.

"Yeah, I can't wait to explore around this place and learn more about demigods."

He grinned. "Now, watch this." He picked up the empty plate in front of him and closed his eyes, his eyes squinting in concentration. Within moments, a plate full of spicy hot wings appeared on his plate.

He opened his eyes and nearly ate his entire plate, but he was stopped by Liam.

"Did I not just tell you about sacrifice?" asked Liam.

Leo pouted, clearly wanting to eat, but he turned to me. He had an excited twinkle in his eye.

"Now, you try."

I picked up my plate, if not a little hesitant. It seemed like any other plate o had ever eaten on. What I was more curious was how it magically appeared when I thought of it.

I closed my eyes, and I wasn't even sure what I was really thinking of. I thought of cheese pizza, burgers, fries, onion rings, and ice cream. Really, I seemed to be craving fast food.

I opened my eyes, and sure enough I had quite a large selection on my plate. The pizza looked heavenly, the burger artistically assembled, and the fries were steaming hot. I even had a small bowl of ice cream perfectly placed and covered in chocolate syrup.

Leo laughed. "Looks like someone has a sweet tooth. I don't even think I've seen food look this good. I'm pretty sure the last meal I ate was a pile of mush."

I laughed, "I'm pretty sure I ate the same thing."

Leo winked at me before getting up and moving to the fire. He frowned before sliding one of his perfectly good wings into the fire. It looked like it pained him before he came back.

"Man, that wing just looked so good." He looked with longing back at the fire. "Ah well, I got plenty left." He then looked at me.

"What?" I asked.

He grinned. "Well, it's your turn."

I looked up at Aiden who had a full plate and was waiting for me. "Everyone has to do it," he said. "And even if you're unclaimed, giving your godly parent an offering will probably entice them to claim you sooner."

I got up an followed the boy over. I knew it was a big camp half-blood tradition, but I wasn't even from this world, and offering sacrifice to gods I didn't really believe didn't really make me feel better.

I decided I would throw a few of my fries and half of my pizza in the fire. The wind shifted and the smoke hit my face. I was actually odd how instead of gagging at the smell, it smelled deliciously like all f the foods I ever wanted to eat. I guess these meals really were worth it for a god.

I walked with Aiden back to the table and sat down. It really didn't upset me that much, sacrificing my food. I still had plenty left.

"Y/n, how are you enjoying camp so far?" Annabeth came by the table with a soft smile.

"It's great," I replied. "Thank you."

Leo spoke up next to me. "Hey where's Pipes and Jason?"

Annabeth grimaced. "Piper had a run in with Rachel, and we'll... something really weird happened, and she's just recovering."

"Is she okay?"

"She's fine. Jason refuses to leave her side though." Annabeth frowned.

Leo nudged me in the side and rose an eyebrow. "They are finally getting some alone time, hmmmm?" Leo whispered.

I gawked at him. "Oh my goodness, Leo. Stop."

He grinned when I elbowed him and went back to eating his food.

Annabeth kicked Aiden in the shins, and he mumbled an ow.

"What was that for?" He rubbed his leg.

Annabeth smirked. "You haven't even introduced Y/n to anybody."

"Alright."

I looked up expectantly.

"Sorry about that," he told me. "My sister can be a little crazy sometimes."

Annabeth frowned. "I'm still older than you."

Aiden retaliated. "By like a month!"

Leo rose an eyebrow. "You guys are siblings.... how does that work?"

Aiden and Annabeth both froze. "Yeah... you don't really want to know."

Annabeth fixed her pony tail quickly and looked back at the big house. "I should really check on Piper. I'll see you guys at the campfire."

I watched her go before Aiden stood up and abandoned his food. I took another bite of my burger before joining him.

"Alright, I guess introductions are necessary." He looked over at the small Latino boy. "Leo, you too."

"But my wings!"

"Later," I said, pulling him up.

We started around the table. Connor sat on the other side of Liam. He was a son of Apollo. Then, beside him was his girlfriend Chelsea, a daughter of Ares. Nyssa, daughter of Hephaestus, sat beside Aiden on the opposite side of the table. Beside her was a boy named David, he was a son of Hermes. I was also able to meet Brenden, son of Ares, and Will, son of Apollo.

It was odd, meeting people that were never in the books. But it also made me feel like this was more real than dream. I couldn't wait for the campfire.
