Broken Promises

"Kathryn...Kathryn Kathryn where are you?" I heard Payton ask as we where playing hide-n-seek in his house. I faintly giggled but soon shut up when I heard him walking towards his closet. He swiftly opened the door and I ran out only to grabbed by his arms. "gotcha" he said with a laugh

"ugh you suck" I said pouting "awe sunshine are you mad at me?" he asked "yes I am Payt" I said sticking my tong out at him. "hey be nice" he said with a laugh. He put me down and I sat on his bed "you wanna know something?" he asked "what?" I replied looking at him "I'll always be your best friend" "promise?" I asked "promise" he said

(who would have thought that all of that was a lie?)

*Monday morning*

I got up to the sound of my alarm. "UGH" I groaned getting out of bed I went to my closet to find something to wear.

(minus the noes piercing)

I went down stairs to see Joanne and Faith "hey guys" I said with a smile. Just because Payton and I aren't friends doesn't mean I can't talk to his mom and sister. "you going to school hun?" my step mom asked "yeah also I'll be late to dinner I have a date with Chancler " I said grabbing my car keys.

I got in my car and played Lately by: Dying in designer. "You're my Courtney Love I'm your Kurt Cobain" I sang along as I pulled up to Chanclers house.

He got in and gave me a kiss then pulled out his phone. "Baby I'm not gonna move until you put on your seat belt" after I said that I felt a stinging feeling on my face "don't tell me what to do" he said looking back at his phone

Yeah so maybe he's not the best boyfriend but I swear he loves me.

I drove off as he took a picture of his hand on my thigh for Instagram.
