Chapter 15: Relaxation

As Fenrir continued to eat I opened my menu and checked out how much money I had earned. I had three reasons for being out here in the dungeon one was to hide from Miko. I know she thinks it's in my best interest  to join a guild. Two I need the money to help Lis pay for rent for the shop and the house. The reason is that the damn Liberation Army moved in on the 46th floor I know their headquarters is on the 1st floor but lately they've been claiming floors and raising the taxes and rent for players. With more players dying List wasn't having a lot of business in her store. She didn't want to lose the shop or move to a new floor. It would be terrible on poor Nilo and us. Lastly my third reason was that I was gathering materials to craft a wedding ring for Lis. We'd been dating for two years now since that day.

I honestly loved her I know that marriage in this world isn't binding in the real world but I felt like Lis and I were ready. Normally when two people marry they get a silver wedding band and their storages become a shared one. At heart I am an artisan I didn't want a plain old ring I wanted something special for Lis and I.

Time Skip

As I left the dungeon I heard a rustling coming from the bushes nearby. I got down slowly "Fenrir smell it out" I commanded Fenrir. He got down and began to snif and crawl slowly towards the bushes. In an instant he lunged in the bushes barking madly. A large bird flew out it was a horned chickalope. Basically a large grey and white chicken with horns and sharp beak and claws. I didn't pull out my bow I pulled out my hidden blade it split into two and a small knife shot out hitting the chickalope in the neck killing it.

My phantom blade was a success it worked perfectly now when I couldn't use my bow I could shoot out a small sharp projectile. I walked over to Fenrir who had the chickalope in his mouth. "Good job buddy nice hunt" I said grabbing the chickalope and putting it in my inventory. I decided to go to Agil's shop on the 50th floor and show off my catch.

Floor 50: Algade

I wasn't the only one who had caught something apparently Kirito managed to catch and Ragout rabbit. He was there trying to sell the meat he got from the rabbit. They were in awe of the animal I caught. I was also going to sell the animal I caught since I wasn't going to eat it. Agil brought up the idea that we could eat the animals we caught instead of selling them. They were both s-rank ingredients we might as well eat them since their incredibly rare. However we would need someone with a very high cooking skill to cook the animals. I knew my cooking skill was high but I might end up burning my chickalope.

"What's this about needing a cook?" a voice said Kirito and I turned around there was Asuna. "What's this about you two needing a cook?" Asuna asked. First we showed her the items we caught she was surprised to see both a Ragout rabbit and chickalope. Asuna then proceeded to show us that her cooking skill was maxed out. I was jealous of her "here Y/N this should help out max your skill" Asuna said handing me a small white crystal. It was a skill enhance crystal you'd select the skill you want to be raised and it raises that skill without you doing all of the work.

Next Asuna made a deal to cook Kirito's ragout rabbit at her place only if she'd get half of it. I smiled a bit I knew that something was going to happen between those two eventually. The three of us left Agil's shop with Agil begging us to give him a bite saying that he and us were pals and we help each other out. Kirito and I simply said we'd both give him a report about how the food tasted. I was going to make a nice dinner for Lis and I. As we got outside I noticed a weird dude standing next to the stairs of the shop. Apparently he was Asuna's bodyguard. She dismissed him which he didn't exactly like he though Kirito and I were miscreants by the way we looked. Fenrir growled at the guy for saying that about us.

Soon the guy realized who we were which angered him. He went off and began to insult Kirito and I calling us very unsavory things. That angered Asuna saying that we were the not bad and that she wasn't going to allow him to say those things about us. Soon we said our goodbyes and we went our separate ways.

Floor 46: Lindarth

I teleported to the 46th floor and headed straight to Lis's house. She was supprised to see me she told me that she had just fed Nilo and had sent her to bed. I told her that I'd be making us a very special dinner tonight. Lis wanted to know what the occasion was a lied and said it was our anniversary as a couple. She called me out and I told her that we didn't need a reason to have a special meal.

Time Skip

I had made a very special chicken curry for dinner I had made sure to use the skill enhance crystal Asuna gave me. As we ate Lis and I began to talk about how things had been since the start of this death game. I noted how we had gotten used to our daily lives as did others players who were still alive. Next we talked about our relationship when we got out of this world would we continue it. That angered Lis a bit "Shi how could you, this world may be a simulation but my love isn't" Lis said. I got up to calm her down "I know and I'm sorry for saying that" I apologized. "I want you to beat this game and get us out of here" Lis said.

"What about Nilo?" I asked "I'm sure she has other relatives that are alive we'll find out where she lives if she's in Japan like us we'll visit her" Lis answered. I hugged Lis tightly "yeah I hope so" I said "listen Shi your special to me so don't die" Lis said. Suddenly she dimmed the lights and closed the blinds. "What's going on?" I asked "I want to try something" Lis answered as she pulled up her menu. Next thing I know Lis takes off her clothes leaving only her bra and panties on. I began to blush like crazy "what...what is going on?" I asked "come on Shi don't let me be the only one" Lis said as she got closer.

Lis grabbed on to me "come on Shi let's make it official" she said. There was a small gasp from the hallway "is big sister Lis going to become mommy and big brother Shi is going to become daddy" Nilo said. We turned to see Nilo with Fenrir staring at us. Suddenly Lis and I began to blush. Quickly Lis pushed me back and ran to her room quickly. I crashed into the table I looked over to see that Nilo was still there. "Don't worry I'm fine, I don't know about Lis though" I said.
