-4 months later-

Quinn and Kai have gotten closer over the past few months, starting with hanging out, almost every day, onto flirting, then eventually, Kai asked her to be his girlfriend. And she said yes, which she also cried, because she thought no one would ever like her that way. But Kai had changed it that day.

Quinn yawns softly as she rolls over, looking to see Kai passed out asleep on his bedroom floor. She smiles softly getting up off the mattress carefully leaning over moving him a bit. "Kai" she whispers.

"Hmm" he mumbles softly rolling onto his back opening his eyes a little looking up at her smiling. He pulls her down into his arms resting his chin on her shoulder.

Quinn lets out a sigh "We have to get up" she mumbles softly.

"No, we don't" Kai mumbles against the skin on her neck rolling over so he can hug her softly and cuddles up to her.

Quinn chuckles planting a kiss on his cheek, wrapping her arms around his waist softly, snuggling into his chest closing her eyes humming to the song that has been stuck in her head for months. Kai moves his hand up to her hair, playing with it softly, pulling his other hand away, pulling her closer against him, kissing her forehead softly.

"We have school, remember?" she mumbles letting out a soft yawn, tilting her head back, so she can see his face.

Kai whines softly, not wanting to get up out of the comfort of the floor, which was surprisingly comfortable and warmer than the comfort of the mattress, that laid upon the metal, squeaky bed frame.

"I know, I know but we have to, or our parents get phone calls home that we weren't at school for first period, and you know how well that will go" Quinn giggles kissing his cheek softly, getting up from the floor, walking over to her bag pulling out a pair of baby blue lulu lemon leggings. She smiles turning back to look at Kai. "Can I wear one of your hoodies?" she asks, already walking to his closet, pulling the sliding door open, before he replied.

He shakes his head pulling himself up, running his fingers through his hair watching her. "Just not any of the white ones, because I know how clumsy and messy you can be" he snorts, pulling himself up off the floor, stretching, arching his back as his arms reach out behind, above his head. Quinn giggles, excitedly, running into his small bathroom, shutting the door, taking a quick shower, as Kai walking over to his closet, pulling out a pair of ripped plain denim jeans, along with a baggy hoodie.

When Kai had come back from boarding school, his parents let him transform the basement into a mini apartment. He has a small bathroom, which is connected to the bedroom. A living room/snack room, where the stairs connect that go upstairs to the kitchen. He hums softly, cleaning up a bit, picking up blankets up off the floor, pushing them into the laundry hamper.

He walks out of the bedroom, hearing Quinn singing a song she is obsessed with, which he didn't quite catch the name of, but he knows it off by heart. He looks around the room humming along to the song, picking up some garbage, putting his school things into his bag. As well, he puts Quinn's stuff in her backpack for her, smiling. The bathroom door creaks open, as the sound of the light shutting off, left an awkward silence in the mist, floating from the bathroom, out to the connecting rooms.

Quinn smiles, walking towards him, with a towel wrapped around her hair, still humming the song, bopping her head back and forth, side to side. Kai smiles at her, as he walks back into the bedroom, grabbing a towel, heading into the bathroom and turns the light back on.

She sits on the bed, taking a look around his room and her attention catches onto an old picture that she recognized. It was Kai, Evan, and herself, at Kais and her family's trailers. She couldn't help but smile, looking at it, thinking about her childhood.
