A roar echoed through the fields
Everybody knew their name
Quite unique in nature
The lion with a flower maneThe lion never harmed anything
And their posture was dainty
But even knowing this
The animals loved their crazyThe proud roses bloomed
And their cherry petals spread
But no one seemed to care
Everyone loved the lion insteadHe pranced through the fields
Daisies sprouted between his toes
The savannah blushed with flowers
Everything the lion touched seemed to growHe approached me from the fields
Violets fluttered from his ears
I couldn't believe those colors
Pink roses pleasantly appearedThey giggled at my reaction
As daffodils bunched together
Their endearing smile stole my attention
While the orchids made me feel betterI was embarrassed, caught off guard
Their roseate cheeks drove me insane
They exuded confidence
I stared in awe at his flower maneI truly admired him
For his fearless demeanor
Their ability to be happy
Just being who they wereMy life was forever changed
By the lion with a flower mane
