37. Dispatch

"Yes but we can't cause any more scenes." Hoseok replies.

"That's Y/N!" Jungkook says pissed. "She's our friend and we let our fans trample her and call her names! I don't care for making a scene and I don't care if I'll get called out for about this on SNS, but if she's my friend I'm going to help her!"

The boys didn't try to stop their maknae. They knew he was right, but with so much going on right now, doing such things won't help them. "Im sorry, okay?" Taehyung says. "She matters to me, too, and we'll talk to army about this like we always do on our concerts, our SNS, everywhere. We need to also be mature about this, okay?"

Looking at V, Jungkook sighs and calms down, looking away still pissed at the thought of Y/N being hurt, but at least his anger wasn't as bad as before. "Whatever, let's go." The maknae says before him and his group leave the building.

"So what happened at the meeting?" Mika asks Y/N. Y/N was now at her and Mika's apartment. Y/N was to have her debut live in a few hours and until then, she was staying home with Mika. 

"Jungkook oppa and I barely spoke. It was scary to." Y/N says with shivers and shakes. "Not a fun meeting at all. Even Solar unnie was very serious."

"Well SNS does think Jungkook and you are dating." Mika says as she stirs the soup in the pot. "Did they release an article yet from BIgHit?" 

"Not sure. Bang PD-nim says his team will be doing it and it should be up soon." Y/N answers as she looks at her phone. Not long after, Y/N got the notification from PD-nim that said the article should be up. "It's up!" She shouts. Mika turns the stove on low before rushing to Y/N's side to read the message from BigHit out loud.

Confirmed by Bang Si-Hyuk, BigHit's Entertainment, BTS's management team, BTS, Kim Y/N's management team, and Y/N, we will like to explain that the sudden rumors of BTS member Jeon Jungkook and our newly almost rookie idol Kim Y/N are not dating. The rumor started off with our two members saying a farewell with one another as they were leaving the building. Their relationship is nothing more than friend to friend, and senior to junior. 

Please halt from confronting both artist, the rest of BTS, their management team, and BigHit Entertainment from such rumors. Our artist is always our number one priority and we will do something about all rumors and people who try to spread negative comments of our idols.

"Well, short and simple." Mika says. 

As Y/N was trying to reread the letter, her phone screen turns into a blur as someone begins to call her. Looking at the contact name, she wasn't surprised to see Nayeon's name pop up. "Should I answer?" Y/N asks Mika. 

Mika shrugs her shoulders before getting up as she heads back to the stove. "You do you!" Was all she says. 

With a sigh, Y/N looks at the buzzing phone in her hands before hitting the green answer button. "Yeoboseyo?" 

"Little Miss Y/LN Y/N you have a lot of explaining to do!" Nayeon shouts from the other side of the phone, causing Y/N to yelp and throw her phone to the ground from the sudden loud voice. 

"Aish." Y/N says as she wiggles her finger in her ear to stop the ringing and picks up her phone. "Yah! Why so loud?!" Y/N shouts back. 

"You dare shout at me?!" Nayeon says. 

"Yes!" Y/N replies. Nayeon gasps. 

"Rude!" 

"I'm rude?! Says the girl who just broke my eardrum!" 

"Yah quit it!" Y/N hears on the phone before a smack. 

"Ack! Yah! Jihyo what the heck?!" Nayeon says before a bunch of rustling was heard. Y/N was confused as to what was going on. 

In Twice's dorm, the girls all watch as Jihyo tackled Nayeon onto the ground, trying to grab her phone. "Get off Jihyo!" Nayeon says. 

"Just give me your damn phone you fucking bunny!" Jihyo says before finally grabbing at the phone and sighing loud. Before Nayeon could jump at Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Tzuyu stood in front of her to stop her. 

"Aish, move!" Nayeon says before trying to get away from the two tallest members but they continued to block her way. 

"Annyeong, Y/NN-ah." Jihyo says finally catching her breath. "It's Jihyo." 

"A-ah, annyeong, Jihyo unnie." Y/N says. 

"Is there any way we can meet up with you some time?" Jihyo asks. "We want to see you." 

"Ah well we'll have to see I'm sorry. I'm going to be busy the next few days or weeks." Y/N says honestly. Jihyo understood. After debuting or having a comeback, it gets hectic. 

"Ah arasso, make sure to eat and drink water okay?" Jihyo says with a frown. "Don't want you getting sick..." 

"Of course unnie, I will take care of myself as always. I miss you and the girls." 

"We miss you more." Jihyo says with a wide smile. 

"Well I have to get going, Mika finished cooking and I'll need to leave soon for my vlive. Watch it okay!" 

"We will, we will give it a lot of hearts okay!" Jihyo says happily. 

"Thank you unnie. Bye!" 

"Bye, Y/NN!" With that, Y/N hung up the phone and Jihyo tossed Nayeon back her phone. 

"Yah!" Nayeon shouts. 

"Aish shut it." says Chaeyoung. "You're so loud." 

"Did you read the report?" asks Momo. 

"What report?" 

"BigHit came out with a statement saying Jungkook oppa and Y/NN are not dating." Momo says and shows the article. Immediately the girls all crowd her and the phone. 

"Yah, we have a shot!" Sana cheers. 

"Great now I feel bad for shouting at her." Nayeon curses to herself. 

"I mean you didn't need to shout in the first place." Mina says, making Nayeon scoff and cross her arms. 

"Whatever." 

Dahyun read the article over and over again, her smiling going wider each time. Y/N was single, and that meant she had her shot with her.
