Zenitsu x Reader

After I got back to Urokodaki-San's house, I didn't know what to do with the rock so I gave it to him.

"Y/n! You made it!"

"Heh. Yea I would never let demons beat me that easily. Speaking of demons... is Nezuko awake yet?"

Immediately after the sentence I heard running soft steps coming closer to us. Then I saw a short girl.

"Did... Nezuko shrink?"

Nezuko ran towards me and tackled me with a hug.

"Hey nezuko!" I hugged back tightly. After a few seconds we pulled away from the hug and I patted her head. She gave me a look and I knew it was about Tanjiro.

"He's outside somewhere coming back here."

Nezuko got up and started doing her cute slow jog to the door and knocked it down.

"I-...." I said shocked with my jaw almost dropping to the floor. Then suddenly she started making noises.

"Nmm pfff hhf"

I went outside and stood next to her.

"You sense him don't you?" I asked.

"Mmm!" She replied smiling brightly with her eyes. Once Tanjiro was on top of the hill, nezuko and I gave him a wave. His eyes widened to see nezuko awake. Then he started running down the hill, but he fell from the increase of speed going down the hill.

Nezuko's eyes slightly widened and ran towards him as I followed behind. When nezuko was next to Tanjiro, she immediately gave him a hug.

"You haven't been awake for so long! Nezuko! You made me so worried about you!" Tanjiro said trying to hold his tears in.

They both literally had the best sibling relationship anyone would ask for. So I put both my hands on their heads and rubbed it.

"It's alright you two... there's no need to cry." I said while giving a positive smile.

"Come on let's head inside. I still have to tend to Tanjiro's injuries."

We all got up while I put Tanjiro's arm around my neck to support him to walk.

"Oh yea... y/n you forgot something at the Final Selection so I brought it with me."

"Oh thank you for bringing it here. Just give it to me after dinner or when I treat ur injuries."

Tanjiro nodded and lied down on the floor resting and slowly falling asleep.

"Did Tanjiro not get sleep during the selection?" Urokodaki-San asked.

"No. He thought there were gonna be demons when we were supposed to be getting rest so he stayed up guarding our 'campsite' and no demons showed up.... so he's kinda disappointed and annoyed from that."

"Ahhh I understand" he said.

I stood next to Tanjiro's lying body and sat down.

"Oooooi wake upppp I'm gonna make dinner now." I sighed and patted his head. He groaned and looked up at me. Seeing his eye bags made me feel bad for waking him up from his nap.

"What are you making...?" He asked.

Me wanting to be nice to him I said "anything you want it's your treat for keeping me safe in the Final Selection."

"Ahhh arigato! Can I have ramen?" Tanjiro requested.

I smiled and nodded.

"You can rest for a few minutes while I set up and cook."

"Thanks y/n I owe you a lot..." he said quietly his eyes slowly closing. Soon enough light snores were heard from him.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the stuff I needed. Grabbing the pot and filling it up with water. Putting the pot on the stove (or whatever they had the boiling thingy) and started heating up the water. Once the water was hot enough I added the soup powder. I mixed it with the chopsticks I was holding, and mixed til the powder was dissolved into the water.

Adding the noodles next I left it sitting for a 1 or 2 to let it become soft and noodle looking. Making sure the noodles were soft I lightly stabbed a piece to make sure it still wasn't hard. (I- don't know what to write anymore ;-;)

Putting the ramen in a bowl. I turned around to see Tanjiro hiding behind a wall. Sniffing the air like crazy. "Uhhh.... I guess you smelled the soup..." I said as he nodded violently.

As I was holding the bowl to give to Tanjiro I felt a tug on my haori. I looked down to see a small nezuko. Giving the bowl to Tanjiro I reached out to let nezuko grab my hand and she did. When she grabbed my hand I felt something flutter in my heart.

'She's so cute!' I thought in my head giving her a soft smile. Then she started leading me somewhere.

"Where are we going?" I asked her as we started heading out the door.

"Is there something outside you want to see...? Wait hold on stay right here nezuko. Don't run off by yourself okay?" I let go of her hand as I ran back inside the house to get my katana. After a few seconds I ran back out to check if nezuko was still there, and she wasn't.

"That sneaky little child." I had an irk on my head and started running around the forest to find her. I tried to sense if any demons were around.

Then I felt the air pressure change. My eyes widened to realize the air pressure changes when someone is in danger. I started sprinting to find where someone is indeed of help. Then a scream was heard.

"SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!"

I ran towards the direction where the scream was. Soon enough I was able to see a glimpse of where the person was and saw a tall demon. I quickly focused and got into a stance (like zenitsu when he does his skill) slowly slid the katana out of the sheath and started inhaling air.

"Kaze no kokyū Go no kata: Shōjō da jinran! (Breath of the wind Fifth Style: Winter Gale!)" putting all the pressure on my foot to use the force to jump high into the sky. As soon I started falling I strike my katana creating a multitudes arched slashes to hit the tall demon.
