Meaning || M!Clementine x F!reader

We all start walking back to the school, Clem right beside me looking around for any more signs of danger. Violet comes and walks by my side, giving me a slight nod.

"You know, you guys are not half bad. Considering the circumstances and all..." Violet says while shrugging.

"Thanks." Clem and I say in unison.

"Let's finish these guys off. We don't need them attracting more walkers back to the school." Violet says as she speeds up her pace and starts killing the remaining walkers.

Clem, Vi, Aasim, and I kill a few more walkers that were around us. Once I am done with my walker I turn to see Aasim pick up the arrows he used from the ground.

"Piece of shit. I hate this cleanup bullshit." Aasim says while pulling an arrow from a walker. Then, out of no where I see a walker come up behind Aasim and grab him, making him exclaim in fear, "What the fu--? AHH!"

"Shit!" I say while running as fast as I can to help Aasim. When I arrive, I stab the walker but not directly in the head, that was a mistake. The walker turns around and backhands me. I stumble a bit, but before I could even process what happened the walker grabs me. I struggle trying to get it off me.

"Oh my God! (Y/n)!!" Clement yells as he starts running in my direction, but before he could get to me, I heard loud footsteps and before I could realize what those footsteps belonged to, a huge dog tackles the walker I was holding off and crushes it's head with it's jaw. I stare at the dog in shock as I start trembling.

When Clem got bit by that dog, Sam, I had to stitch him up and it was horrible. Clem and I have had a huge fear of dogs since then, so when the dog started getting closer to me and started growling I swear I almost had a heart attack. Out of nowhere, I see Clement stand in front of me protectively and he grabs my hand, making me blush. "G-get back" Clement said as we started inching our way back.

"Good girl!" Marlon said as he kneels down to pet the dog, making me a little more relaxed. "Shh, shh. Hey, hey, it's alright, girl. It's alright. Hey, I see you guys and Rosie are making friends." Marlon says looking between me and Clement.

"Had a bad experience with a dog once." Clement says with fear dripping out of his voice. I nod in agreement and take a step back, better be safe than sorry right? I look down at mine and Clem's intertwined hands, and slowly let go, I am not sure if I wanted to let go or not. Apparently Clem felt my hand slipping out of his and turned to look at me, as he started scratching ,nervously, the back of his neck as he got red. He isn't blushing...is he?

"Well, Rosie here can help you get over it. She's as cuddly as they come. Except when she's mauling walkers, that is." I gulp loudly at Marlon's statement.

"That walker came out of nowhere." Aasim says as he approaches us. I look at him and and nod.

"Alright, alright, fun's over. Let's get inside, I'm fuckin' starving." Marlon says as he turns around to walk back to the school.

"You're not the only one." Clement says as he turns to look at me. "Are you ok?" Clement says with a worried face.

"Yea...scared shitless...but fine" I say as I give him a small smile. Then, out of nowhere I felt a pair of hands wrap around me. It was Clement, he was hugging me like there was no tomorrow. I hugged back and buried my face in his shoulder. It felt nice, it felt...right.

"I thought I told you to be careful" Clement says as he lets out a shaky breath and breaks the hug as he looks me straight in the eye.

I smile at him as I say, "And I thought I told you to cut that hair a few days ago." I say as I hug him again. "Yet here we are Clementine" I say as I start chuckling.
