Karamel: A Hero's Journey

One of the agents at a computer desk listening to Monel, began tapping rapidly, zooming into the screen before flashing to black. Suddenly a point co-ordinates blinked on a map on the screen.

Kara and Monel shot out the DEO balcony heading in the towards the location.

There was nothing there.
Kara x-rayed the area before noticing a lake, they peered into the pit where a lake streamed and there was the grey truck, half sunk and caught between rocks. Kara x-rayed the truck. "No one is in there"

"What about there" Monel pointed into the distance where a broken down, factory was housed. A large peice of metal was hanging of the top of the building, it was rusty but you could still make out 'Forlorn Factory' whitewashed against the metal.

Monel's brows furrowed.
"I'll check the perimeter" Monel said.
"I'll check inside"

They both sped flew towards the building.

Kara found her way through a broken hanging peice of metal, leading to the top floor. X-raying the desolate place for any signs of life. There were large rusted pipes and broken down machinery.

She heared shuffling from the other side of the wall
Walking cautiously, she roamed across the floor before wandering into a room.

A red hooded figure, distracted by music playing through earphones, was standing in front of a table. Head bent, engrossed in whatever they were doing.

"Hey " Kara yelled. "You're caught red handed now".

The figure jumped, turning quickly to face Supergirl.

"Supergirl", "It's you now" the tall dark haired woman spoke with sly grin, sighing shortly after.
Kara was slightly shocked, she assumed all this time it was a man who'd done this.

"C'mon, come and get me" the woman teased, holding her own wrists face up next to each other".

"It would be my pleasure" Supergirl spoke with pride as she attempted to speed hover towards the woman. Supergirl couldn't move. A hoard of neon green ants were grasping at her legs. Holding them down like kryptonite induced rope. She tried again to move her leg, but it wouldn't budge.

The woman found her chance, gathering up things and running past heading towards the door.

At this point Kara was furious and struggling, while the woman was running past Supergirl and heading towards the door.

Then POW.
Valor arrived just in the nick of time, punching the woman in the doorway.
She fell almost immediately and behind him DEO agents were swarming the area.
"It's her right" Valor asked. Kara nodded.

"Hey, are you okay". Valor asked Kara

"Do I look okay to you" Kara spoke back nonchalantly. Still furiously struggling to get out from the ants hold.

Monel chuckled.

"Hey, calm down" Monel held her cheeks in his palms.

"I would be calm if I wasn't stuck"

"No i mean, look d'you remember the snake scene from Harry Potter".
