"Look if you relax" Monel interrupted.

Kara listened desperate to be set free, the small creatures were not hiding her down now. Easily Kara's feet were free. A slight smile was pressed along her face before she returned to her furious pout, hovering inches above the floor.

"CHILDREN ARE DYING AND YOU'RE JUST GOING TO SIT THERE!" Supergirl yelled, smashing her hand into the metal desk where the woman's cuffed hands lay.

"Supergirl, stand down" J'onn spoke.

"I'm going to ask you one more time, how are you doing this, more importantly why and how do we stop it?" Supergirl stammered at her, a little more calm and a few inches away from the dented desk.

The woman shrugged, not giving into Supergirl's tiresome attempts to get her to speak.

Valor walks in with a glass box, inside was a sample of the glowing green ants that were wrapping around Supergirl's feet earlier. He walks down placing the box on a non dented area of the desk.

"So this is a modified ant", "I'm sure of which you are well aware". "A little bit of kryptonite in there seems like a good way to hold down Supergirl"

"Thats why you couldn't move, the ants were weakening you". Valor looks back at Supergirl.

The woman responded with a nonchalant smile.

"See, the thing is, the big question, drumroll please". Valor taps his fingernails in a drum like style along the desk.

"How did the ants know who to attack?".

"Supergirl?" Valor looks back at Kara.

"Director Danvers and I looked back through some security footage, you were previously bombarded by a swarm of wasps, is that correct?"

Supergirl, arms crossed and bemused as to where this was going, nodded.

"Now of course yes, you could be using a certain technology to control swarms of insects, but controlling wasps to fly would be near impossible".

"I know who you are."
"Abberswyth" Valor stated.

That's what she is, an alien who can control insects.

She has been breeding insects with poison, or in your case Kryptonite" Valor looks at Supergirl and then controlling them to attack children and you." Valor looks back at Supergirl again.

"So we know who she is, how can we stop her". Supergirl speaks aloud.

Valor turns and walks out with his kryptonite bug sealed in a glass case.
Before he leaves he motions for Supergirl to follow him.

She does.

"What's going on, are you okay".

"Here" he pulls out a small Polaroid illustrating a child and a woman; the same woman. A name printed on the back reading 'Alyssa'
