Just Add Magic

Angel's POV:

"Oh my God we're gonna die here!!" Sophia cried. She's been pacing back and forth for ten minutes now. Chrystal wouldn't stop crying and I was pissed. I sighed in frustration. "Alright stop!!! Both of you!!" I said. They looked at me. "We're not gonna die. Chrystal you got us into this but I'm gonna get us out of this." I said.

"I said I was sorry Angel." She said. Tears streamed down her face. I sighed and walked over to her. I wiped her face. "Stop crying love. We're going to get out of this. Come on." I said, as I started walking towards the house. "Where are we going?" Sophia asked. "I can't believe I'm saying this but we're going back to that house." I said.

"What?!" They both said. "Look I know it sounds crazy-" Sophia cut me off. "No it is crazy. Angel did you not see what chases us out of that house?! I'm not going back there!!" She said. "Look if we stay out here in the open area, a wild animal might take us for food." I said. "What animal is gonna come out here to the beach?" Chrystal asked.

"An animal whose gonna get thirsty." I said. They looked at each other. "Look I know this crazy but that house is the only safe place on the island. We'll just stay in the yard and if something appears, we'll just go inside the house and wait. Someone is going to notice we're missing and send help." I said.

"How do you know?" Sophia asked. "Because my Mama once overreacted to me and Kiana being gone for five minutes. We were at a water park and me and Kiana went to get ice cream. We told our Mama but she didn't say anything so we left. She freaked out and had all the life guards search off us, even though we were right at the entrance to the park." I said.

They chuckled. "That's kinda funny." Chrystal said. "It was. So my Mama will probably notice I'm gonna and so will your parents. They'll come back for us. Now look. Let's just go back to that house and stay there until help arrives." I said. They both nodded. We turned on our flashlights from our phones and entered the forest.

"Okay now which way did we first go?" Sophia asked. We looked at Chrystal. "Umm that tree looks familiar." She said. Chrystal led the way through the woods. "Okay guys we have to be very careful. Anything can pop out at us." I said. "Like them damn raccoons." Chrystal said. "Okay you have got to let that go." I said.

We looked around some more for anything useful to help lead us to the house. Just then, we heard thunder overhead. We all looked up at the sky. "Oh no. It's not about to rain. Please God no." Sophia said. "Well now we gotta hurry up." I said. We started to walk quickly through the forest but thunder sounded even louder. I looked up. "It's starting to get foggy." Chrystal said.
