As Antonio walked out of district 21 he pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed the number he new he was gonna dread. The name says Gabby as Antonio hits dial he stops to think how to tell Gabby what happened then just as he was going to hang up Gabby answers "Antonio what's up why are you calling me?" Antonio "hey agh sis uhm ah..." "Gabby says what's up you not yourself did something happen between you and Brett?" Antonio at this point is holding back tears as he replies "no Gabby it's dad he's uhmm he's at Chicago Med in critical condition he was uhm ahh hit by a bus Today" as it was Silence on the other end of the phone Antonio "says Gabby? Are you ok" Gabby replies "I honestly don't know Antonio" as she takes a deep breath & sighs she says " I'll be on the next flight to Chicago" Antonio replies "are you sure? because I can handle this" Gabby says "that's the problem with you tonio you think you can handle it all on your own" Antonio pauses as he holds back tears and replies " yes Gabby I'm sure I have intelligence Sylivie and the kids I'm on my ways to see Sylivie now I'll tell her everything she's going be so mad at" as Gabby replies " if your sure you can then that's fine but I'm still coming to Chicago I need to see dad" Antonio replies "ok then call me when you get to the airport" Gabby replies don't go Dawson on this yes I will" Antonio forces a slight smile and replies "Oh Gabby please my name isn't Gabriella Dawson" as Gabby is about to laugh she replies " ok ok Antonio I have to go now i love you brother and I'll see you soon" Antonio replies " ok I love you to sis take care and have a safe flight" Antonio hangs up the phone and looks down at the time and says to himself "oh my god it's 10pm Sylivie is going to kill me" just as he turns the key to start the car he gets the phone call he was dreading it's Sylivie " Antonio I where the hell are you what's going on it's 10 o'clock I'm sitting here waiting for you" Antonio replies "uhm hey babe I'm on my way now I ah uhm need to talk to you when I get home can you please wait for me I'm sorry it's been one of those days and I just need you"Sylivie replies "yes baby I'll be here when you get home is everything ok you don't sound yourself what up?" Antonio replies "I'll be home in 15 minutes I love you Sylivie I'll see you soon love you bye" Sylivie replies "I love you to Antonio I'll see you when you get here" as Antonio hangs up the phone he's drives home it's now 10.15pm he wasted no time in getting to his apartment as he puts his key in the door he whips the one tear from his face takes a deep breath and turns the handle as he walks through the door he see Sylivie sitting on the couch watching TV he says "Sylivie uh hey how was your day" Sylivie turns the tv volume down and replies " oh you know Same same how was yours" Antonio looks at her and fulls to his knees and says "not good Sylivie it's my dad he was uhm he he ah he was hit by a bus today after you and foster finished your shifts" she joins him on the floor and says " I'm so sorry Antonio what did Med say?" At this moment he has tears down in his eyes and running down his cheeks and says "he's in critical condition Sylivie.Gabbys on her way to Chicago what am I going do? Sylivie he's my dad he's not always had the best ideas but he made me the man I am today I'm a Chicago cop because of him." As Antonio put his head on her shoulder he lets it's all out and says " why why what's gonna happen if he dies what about my mom Sylivie they might not be together but she's never stopped loving him" Sylivie replies " lets go to Med so you can see him" Antonio smiles and says "Sylivie Wait I have to give you this" she replies " aww Antonio it's beautiful I love it and I love you to" she smiles and gives him a kiss and says " let's go" as they walked out of the house he pulls his phone out of his pocket and dials his moms number. As she answers she says " hi darling what's up? It's late" Antonio can't do it he hands the phone to Sylivie "talk to her please" he says with his eyes welling Sylivie takes the phone "hi Karen how are going? Look I'm Going to cut straight to why Antonio rang you it's Marco he's been hit by a bus and we are heading to Chicago Med can you meet us there?" Karen replies yes how's my boy dealing with this?" Sylivie replies "in the only way he knows how to bottling up his emotions I've never seen him like this" Karen replies "I'll see you at Med bye Sylivie" Sylivie hangs up and says to Antonio " she's on her way let's go before it's to late" he just looks at Sylivie with the saddest look and says "yeah can you drive please" Sylivie looks and nods. They arrive at Med it's now 12am.
