I scrambled to my feet, my brain yelling at me to run.
There were too many.

The smoke continues to fly around the building, the darkness growing and I run. Looking back every few seconds.

I ran throughout the bendy halls of the high school. Before turning around to see if the smoke had followed.

It was all gone.

I looked around, extremely confused and ready to fight.

I continued moving, peaking into the windows and open doors along the classrooms. I noticed most students were trapped inside.
I couldn't worry about that now, as far as I could tell they were safe in there.

I ran down the hall, slashing up the painted sigils with my knife as I ran by. Attempting to break the hold they had on the building.
As I reached the original source, the art room. I got a terrible headache.
A vision flashed through my mind.

A church, the interior lined with red silk and wooden seats. A man stood on the low stage, holding Ethan hostage, and Sam and Dean were pinned to the walls.

I snapped out of it, trying to escape the daze. My vision blurry, as I saw the kids from before exiting the room.
Only this time they were black eyed, victims of possession.

I knew where the chapel was, after all the town was named "white chapel" based on the fact that the church was the first thing built.

I stumbled to my feet, now noticing the possessed students moving my way.
They had eerie blank stares, some staring menacingly.
I looked around, the knife still wielded in hand.

'How do I get out of here?' I thought to myself
I peered around looking for an exit, one that didn't have any signs around it. I then remembered an exit on the south side of the building, located in the basement.
I quickly started running down the hallway, ignoring the black smoke as various children were being possesed every moment.
My phone rang.
"Hello, Cassie? It's sam"
"Dad , Dad! Where are you?!"
"We are going into this old church, there's something going on inside. Demons are guarding the perimeter"
The cell signal weakened, static between every word
"No don't go in there its a-" the line cut off.

"Shit" i said out loud, now i needed to move even quicker.
I ran down the hallway quickly turning the corners, lights in the building flickered throughout. I continued running my knife along the walls and through the sigils as I ran. Allowing for some students and teachers to escape.

Eventually I came upon the exit, a large blue door. I ran up to it pushing on the handle.
"Son of a bitch"
The door was jammed.

I stepped back, and ran into the door as an attempt to create force. It did absolutely nothing.
So I did what my mind was yelling at me to do.
With a kick of adrenaline, as the demons moved closer.
I raised my hand up to the door, focusing all my energy.

In a moment it flew off the hinges, leaving me with a nose bleed and not much energy. Yet using what i had i ran out the doorway. Stepping over the rubble outside.

I could see the chapel across the street, old and Victorian looking. A large white building, in unusually well kept condition.
From what i knew demons couldn't walk on consecrated or holy grounds, so it must mean that whoever was in there-whatever was in there. Has some serious mojo.

I ran quickly, the laces of my shoes flying in the air as I went. The streets seemed panicked. As some cars had stopped to view the brewing storm and harsh winds. Even a fire-hydrant has burst. FIlling the black asphalt streets with water.

I sucked in a breath, leaning over to conserve any energy I had left. As I stared at the panic stricken neighborhood.
I then heard a scream, and in my peripheral vision noticed more possessed highschoolers climbing over the rubble of a door that i had left behind.
I jumped, continuing to make my way toward the church. Blade in hand, yet the demons didn't seem to care much. Like brainwashed minions, they'd do whatever it takes to help whoever is running this operation. If you can even call it that.
