The train neared the group of heroes. They all carried the kids with them as they made their way to higher ground. The building behind them continued to collapse as the final bits of damage from the explosion acted as catalysts to bring the building down. Y/n held her daughter close as they jumped onto the oncoming train. Raphael pulled his wife and daughter into his chest protectively.
Y/n gaze made its way to Donatello as he stared wistfully at nothing in particular. His two children were huddled up next to him, likely wondering where their mother was and why their father was so absent from what was happening. All y/n could do was appreciate her now fixed circumstances, because it could be worse.
Once the train went through another tunnel close to where they had left the car, they all safely jumped off with the children. Lincoln, Michael, and Sara volunteered to rent another car so there would be room for the men and children to fit into the car better.
Raphael eyed the van that they are were supposed to fit in. "I'm sorry, we're supposed to be able to fit in there? Do we have any Uhaul money?"
"Do you know how much a one-way Uhaul is gonna cost to get to New York?" Y/n questioned her husband. "I don't exactly have that much money in my wallet after paying to get down here."
Isabella smirked to herself. "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I may or may not have found a large amount of cash while you guys were busy fighting that curly-headed bad guy." She pulled out two large bundles of hundred dollar bills from her pocket.
Leo laughed, lifting their daughter onto his shoulders. "Did you really just steal money from The Company?"
Mikey waved it off. "I mean, is it really stealing though? They took that money from the American people back when they were framing Lincoln for murder."
Y/n shook her head. "That's a long story meant for another day, Michelangelo. Let's go get that Uhaul and head home."

All of the turtles and their wives agreed it would be best if they all lived close together as a family again. Temporarily, the large family moved into the lair again, planning to create separate lairs further down the sewers for each family. The kids were finally able to enjoy life again, although it was clear they would never be able to have a normal life.
Y/n and Raphael snuggled up together on the couch. Raph kissed her forehead and rubbed her shoulder tenderly. Neither one of them wanted to move. They haven't seen each other in so long that it all felt like a dream to be together again.
Y/n held her husband's hand. "Raphie?" He hummed in response. "What happened that night that they took you from me? Why didn't you come home?"
Raph sighed heavily and stared at the wall across from him. "We got word of a hostage situation a couple cities over. The police wouldn't respond to it for some reason. That should've been a sign that something was off. As we made our way into the building, what we thought were civilians was just a series of holograms. The Company's field workers surrounded us with guns and searched us."
Y/n shifted in her position, looking her husband in the face. "They were looking for Scatolla. They knew that if they could get you and the device at the same time they could create their super-human army to retake their position in the government and military."
Raph nodded. "Which is why it was a good thing you stayed behind to care for Destiny. If you had been there with us, everything could've been different. That's why they took the kids. They were hoping to find the 'secrets' to bonding our DNA with pure human DNA. You were the missing piece to the puzzle. If they got ahold of your wedding ring before we destroyed everything..."
"Let's just be glad things worked out." Y/n kissed his cheek. "Now, I do believe it's been a while since we had some... alone time."
Raphael smirked and scooped her up in his arms. "I like the way you think, beautiful."

A month later, life began to move a lot smoother. Y/n, Raph, and Destiny had moved into their new home. Donnie began to find happiness again by focusing on his family and children instead of his wife's betrayal. Mikey and Miley decided to remain living in the lair, considering they had the most members in their family. Leo and Isabella moved into a place in the sewers a few blocks away from Y/n and Raphael.
No one really knew what happened to Krantz and Natalie that day. They assumed that they were killed in the explosion, since it was reported that there were no survivors from the incident. Was it possible that they managed to survive it all?
All these thoughts ran through Raphael's head as he sat watching TV one night. Destiny had fallen asleep on the couch next to him. He carried his daughter to her bedroom and laid her down. While he was tucking her in, his wife called out to him. He kissed Destiny's forehead and ran to the main bedroom.
Y/n smiled widely, handing him a small wrapped box. Raphael eyed her confusedly before unwrapping the box. His eyes widened as he came face-to-face with a positive pregnancy test. "Really?"
Y/n shrugged with a grin. "Surprise."
Raph placed the box on the bed and wrapped his arms around his wife, spinning her in a circle. He lowered her some and kissed her passionately. When they separated, he said, "You know, it's funny how we've only been reunited for a month and we already have another kid on the way."
Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck. "I blame you."
Raphael rolled his eyes playfully and placed a hand on her stomach. "I love you already, little one."
