The next day the gladers woke up early to see Thomas and Minho off to search the maze.

(Y/N) stood beside me as she hugged Minho and shook Thomas's hand which formed into a half hug,

"Be safe out there you two."

She said, Minho hugged her one last time,

"Of course!! Gotta come back for our two favourite gladers dont we?"

Minho shook my hand and we half hugged,

I did the same to Tommy and then they were off,

(Y/N) stood with her hands on her hips, Chuck beside her,

"Uhh miss?"

(Y/N) turned at being called miss,

"Chuck I've told you before, theres no need to call me miss!"

She laughed,

"Right right! Sorry (Y/N), uh but Teresa wants to see you."

I could see (Y/N) tense.

"Did she say what she wanted?"

Chuck shook his head,

"Thanks Chuck."

And even though half the glade was standing by the gates she kissed me on my cheek with a pat on my chest and raced off towards the homestead,

I could feel boys eyes on me, some snickered others looked at me with wide eyes,

"Come on shanks get back to work!"

I said in my best leader voice.

They all grumbled but complied and went off to their respective jobs.

I headed back to the gardens with Zart who kept giving me the look,

That look the weellllll would you look at you and the girl!

That look,

I tried to ignore the warmth in my cheeks as I plucked tomatoes from the vines.

It was almost dinner time when I found a table with (Y/N), Gally, Winston and Zart.

We all sat talking and the boys kept giving me looks and making smoochie noises,

(Y/N) shut them up quickly with a,

"Let's be honest you were all hoping it was you."

She kissed me on the cheek and went to Fry to get seconds as the boys all sat with burning faces,

Then we all looked to the maze,

We could all hear things crumbling and breaking,

Everyone left their food and rushed to the entrance to the maze,

We stood for about 5 minutes before Minho and Thomas rounded the corner,

"What the hells going on out there?"

I asked,

Minho and Thomas continued to walk with all of us following,

"We found something."

Minho said,

"Its a new passage, we think it might be a way out."

(Y/N) and I shared a look,
