Meanwhile on Mewni

I it the crack of dawn and the sun ascends from the grounds of Mewni while the Young princess Star Butterfly is fast asleep. Suddenly, the alarm clock buzzes like a Honey bee frolicking through the flowers. She jolts up from the bed, causing her hair to cover up her face, so she flips It back so she can see. Annoyed at the sound of her alarm clock, she smashes the button causing it to stop buzzing. "*yawn.... next time I shouldn't use that", she said tirelessly. Still wearing her nightshirt, she heads downstairs to the royal dining room to find her parents Queen Moon and King River sitting at the table across from each other. "Good morning pumpkin", River muffled as he chowed on pancakes. "Good morning", She replied."Did you have a good night's sleep my dear?", Moon asked. "I did until my alarm ruined it", Star replied. Queen Moon hands Star a plate of pancakes  and places them in front of her. 'Maybe this will cheer you up", queen Moon said with enthusiasm as Star looked down at it her mouth started to water.

"Wow Mom these look delicious",She said , "like always dear", Moon replied. One of the servants of the castle takes all the dishes and hauls them away to get clean. "Star", Moon said in a serious tone, "yes?", Star replied nervously. "Your father and I need to have a talk with you". Her mother sounded serious.Star was nervous and confused she was afraid that she was going to get in trouble, but she didn't know what for. "About?", Star said nervously. "Queen Moon gets up from her chair. Star, do you know what month it will be in 4 months"? Asked Moon. "Umm....June?", Star answered in confusion. "And do you know what happens when a princess turns 18?". River looks at moon. "I don't know about this moon pie. What if she....". "It will be fine dear", Moon interrupted. "Can somebody tell me what's going on?", Star demanded.

"We know how much this means to you and we know we said it would be around your birthday star, "but we have decided to have your coronation in a few months".Star couldn't say a word, she was surprised to hear what she just heard.inside her mind she was screaming for help for her worst nightmare was catching up to her way sooner than she expected. "Are you serious!?," She shouted. 'Yes my dear', queen moon replied. "The other kingdoms and I had a meeting yesterday, and well most of us came to an agreement and have decided move the coronation. We think it's what's best" for not only you but also for everyone that way we can get this arrangement between you and that devil boy over with. From stars expression she seemed overjoyed, but in actuality she was putting on a masquerade. Inside she felt anger, "yea... best for you", Star thought to herself .

Once breakfast had ended, Star goes back into her room shuts the door behind her and her face begins to turn from happy too sad. no longer she can hide her mask of deception tears began to flow out of her eyes.

No No No this can't be! Why?! Why  does everything  have to come crumbling down so fast! This is not what I wanted I want to be my own person where I can make my own choice and now Im forced to become queen in a few months and get....... *Sigh.

. She walks up to her mirror hanging on the wall and says "Mirror Mirror on the wall call po..... I mean call Kelly". The mirror responds with the words "calling "Kelly ". After the first 2 rings she answers. "Hey star how's its going Kelly greeted. "Hey Kelly ", she responded. Kelly notices star's depressed facial expression  she wonder why she looks upset.

to tell you the truth, not so good", Star said in doubt. this caused Kelly to become concerned. "Whats the matter?,she said. "You know can always tell me anything". "Well..... remember when I told you that  I'm going to become the Next queen of mewni around my birthday?",Star asked. "Yea ", Kelly answered. Star let out a deep breath. "Well.... my parents decided to have my coronation in 4 months". Kelly grew even more concerned. even she knew what her coronation really meant., Oh my gosh ,"Star I'm.. Im so sorry", Kelly said. I know how much you been dreading that day but I never thought that they would move it up so close. If you want to I can go ahead and call pony-head if you want.... Star stops her." No. you know I want nothing to do with her right now", Star quickly said Star starts to look down at the ground. *Sigh..... I always had mixed feelings when it comes to becoming the next queen of Mewni , but ever since I found it that my family are not any heritage to the butterflies. I feel like I don't deserve it. I mean Ecipsa is  the rightful heir but my family took that away from her all because she fell in love with Globgor. She should be the true queen not me." Especially when I also have to Ma...... she pauses in frustration. Kelly tries to come up with a solution to the whole ordeal

"But why don't you just tell your parents?", Kelly asked . "I wish I could but It's not that easy"star answered with doubt. "but i know how Much this means to them. not just them but the entire kingdom of mewni. I don't want to disappoint them. Besides somebody has to rule mewni when my parents are gone. I would give the throne to Eclipsa but she told me that she didn't want any part of the kingdom other than to be accepted ". I just really needed someone to talk to. I feel trapped, waiting for someone to let me out of the hole. I wish I had the courage, the strength to stand up. but the person who gave me all that is not here. I wish I could talk to Mar.......".she pauses. she couldn't finish that sentence. she almost said that name. the name which she have not said in so long. a tear drips from the sky blue eyes falling onto the ground "Look I have to go no Kelly but is there any way you and I cna meet up this afternoon. Of course star! Kelly said with enthusiasm. Your my best friend I'm here for you anytime You need me. I'll see you this afternoon bye bestie!.  Bye said star.Star hangs up and afterwards lay back on her bed looking up at the ceiling  with sadness in her eyes wondering when did her life fall apart. 

Stars POV
I don't know what I really want. I feel lost.. I'm not even  a butterfly. I don't feel like I should be the next queen.noIt's been almost four year since I found out that i have been living a lie. and to top it all off I'm fixing to go through an event which holds the fate of mewni. wish I could talk to Mar..... . Sigh. I haven't seen him for so long nor have not said his name. It's been years. Marco Diaz, He was my best friend. Marco....He was different. He always knew what to say. He was that one person I could count on whenever I was in a bad situation. But that day when he had to leave. It was soo painful for me because... I loved him. Not just as a best friends, but more than that. Right before he went though that portal,I kissed him. What was I thinking? That was really dumb
Of me too do. Even though we haven't seen each other in a while I hope he and his family are ok back on earth.
