Another exchange (Sketch x Reader)

Elijah p.o.v
5 hours later, most people left and the rest were playing truth or dare. Ethan came up to me after I did my dare then said," Mom is looking for us and it's past 12. Lets get Sub then go." I nodded then looked for Sub. We found Sub by the juice dispenser and was chugging a tall glass of grape juice. He finished and looked at us, out of breath. "Mom is looking for us. We better go." Ethan said. Sub looked sad. "It's past 12. Let's go Mister Juice Chugger." I said. Sub nodded and waved good bye to some people.

While on our way out, we saw Denis and Alex sitting on the couch. I went over to say bye since Sub and Ethan said bye already. I came closer and saw Y/n passed out behind Denis. "I think you might want to get that girl home." I said. Denis looked confused and looked behind him and chuckled. "I just checked on her and asked if she was fine if we waited for Noah to give Alex something." He said. Alex laughed. "That was a minute ago." He exclaimed. We laughed then I said," Any way, Ethan, Sub and I gotta go. See you guys on Monday." Alex and Denis waved and I walked away.

Denis p.o.v
"Oh wait. Didn't we come here with them?" Alex asked a few minutes after Elijah them left. I stared at the door and remained silent, feeling silliness fill inside of me. "Uhh....well, I can get an Uber for us." I said. Alex laughed then said," That will have to do."

Ten minutes later, Noah came and gave Alex some of the desserts that was by the table.

We said bye to him and then we stood up and looked at Y/n sleeping on the couch. "Should we wake her up?" Alex asked. I shook my head. "Bad idea. I'll carry her to the car." I said. Alex nodded and I picked Y/n up gently.

Alex opened and closed the car door for me and got in. We asked our parents and they said it was fine that Alex came over to my house and slept over.

We got out and Alex took Y/n so that I could unlock and close the door again. He put her down on the couch and then said," Now what?" "You do know that she has a bedroom right?" I asked. "Don't be so insensitive." I said. Alex rolled his eyes then said," Denis, I would take her up to her room but my arms are as noddly as a packet of noodles." "Great usage of words." I said sarcasticly. "You take her up." "Fine." I said, picking Y/n up and taking her upstairs to her room.

I put her on her bed and put a blanket over her. "Why didn't you take her shoes off?" Alex asked. "Dude. You try and pull those laces apart to take those takkies of her feet. Have you seen how tight she ties them?" I asked. "True. Oh well." Alex said. I shrugged my shoulders and closed the room door behind me.

Alex took the sleeping bag that was close to my bed, since the boys would come and sleep over often. "I am so tired." I said as I took off my shoes. I didn't bother to change my clothes and got into bed. "Me too. Night Denis." Alex said. "Night Alex."

                    -3 MONTHS LATER-
Y/n p.o.v
I was sitting on my bed busy watching YouTube videos when I got a message from Elijah.

Elijah: Hey. Uh...wanna come over and play some Gang Beasts? Ethan went with Sub to Alex.

Me: Sure. Denis went to Alex too.

Elijah: Yeah. They have a Drama project together.

Me: Well, with their acting, they need to practice.

Elijah: Yep. Big time.

Me: Anyway, see you in a few minutes.

Elijah: 😉

I rang the door bell and held my skate board in my hand. I heard feet thunder down the stairs and the door swinged open. Elijah stood there, out of breath. I frowned. " Are you okay?" I asked. "I am great." He said, gaspsing for air. I grinned. "Go get water, you weirdo." I said. Elijah laughed and left me to go to the kitchen and I came in, closing the door and locking it.

"So. What do you want to do when you out of school?" I asked out of the blue while we played a round of Gang Beasts. "I am not sure. Maybe a Youtuber. That would be cool." Elijah said, not taking his eyes off the screen. I didn't either. "What would your name be?" I asked. "Not sure. Haven't thought that far." He said, looking away for a split second at me. I used that split second and threw him down the elevator. "Hey!" He said. I laughed. He looked and smirked. I looked around his room and saw a paper with the
words," Halo" sketched on it. "How about Sketch? From that guy from Halo. I can't remember his actual name." I said. "That would be pretty cool. Imagine the merch!" Elijah exclaimed. "There would be pretty cool merch to sell." I nodded. "What do you want to be?" "I am not sure anymore." I said. "Didn't you tell Denis you want to be a Prima Ballerina?" Elijah asked. "Yes. But now I don't know." Elijah placed his hand on my shoulder. "You'll find out eventually."

We placed other games for hours when my phone rang. I apologized to Elijah and answered the phone. He shook his head, not fazed that I answered the phone. It was Denis's mom.

"Uh..hello Y/n." Mrs Kopotun said quietly. She sounded sad. "Is everthing alright Mrs K?" I asked. "No. No Y/n. Please come home...I need to tell you something and it's not something I can tell you over the phone." She said. "I am on my way." I said. "See you." Mrs Kopotun sounded hesitant and she hung up. "Everything alright?" Elijah asked. "I don't think so." I said. "I'll take you with my car. It's quicker. Besides, I need gas."

Elijah took me to Denis's house and we said bye before he drove off.

I walked into the living room and saw Mrs Kopotun sitting with Denis on the couch, both looking sorry. Mrs Kopotun said," Y/n dear. Sit, please."
