(Sonic Pov)

We been out in Green Hill Zone for hours, I'm beginning to lose hope in finding this damn cat.

"This is why I'm a dog person, dogs don't just run into the wild and think they own the place." I groaned, as we continued walking.

"Sonic quit complaining, your the one who wants to make things right with Shadow." Tails said, as he carried cat treats.

"This is the most boring thing I've ever done." I groaned.

Tails Ignored me and continued walking.

Tails then turned around and raised a brow.

"Did you hear that?"

"Hear what-"

I looked behind me, and saw the cat that Shadow was holding that day.

"There that damn cat!" I yelled.

Tails shushed me, and handed me the cat treats.

"I'll carry it back to the workshop and make sure it healthy, you should get ready and maybe take a shower." Tails chuckled, as the cat meowed.

I stuck my tongue out and ran home.

I guess I will take a shower...

After a interview about Eggman that lasted for like the whole day was done, Commander let me go home since Eggman was kinda like my last family member alive...

Not that I considered him family...

Now I'm laying in my bed, the lights off, my phone off, everything off. Nothing is going to stop me from resting, absolutely nothing.

I close my eyes, smiling, and lay there.

But there's a problem...

I can't sleep.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD SHADOW!" I screamed to myself. "YOU BEEN BEGGING FOR REST AND NOW THAT YOU HAVE THE CHANCE YOU CANT SLEEP?"

I swore to myself, how could I not sleep? I've been begging for sleep for days!

I repositioned myself, maybe it was just the way I was laying?

After repositioning myself for the millionth time I gave up, and grabbed my phone.

I turned my phone on, only to find it dead.

"I seriously need a new phone, a new t.v, and a new bed..." I grumbled to myself, as I got up from my bed and walked downstairs.

I walked to my fridge and looked in it, only to see I had barely any food.

"I also need to buy groceries." I sighed, as I flopped down on the couch.

For some reason I felt more conferable on the couch then on my bed, it actually made me tired.

"I guess I'll sleep here." I whispered to myself, as I FINALLY FELL FUCKING TO SLEEP!
